Security Update for Internet Explorer (KB960714) - CRITICAL

There have been a number of reports citing thousands of websites (both intentionally malicious and legitimate but compromised) exploiting this vulnerability. You can read more at BBC.

All users are strongly encouraged to download and apply the patch without delay.

me too smile.gif well, every month, i download all my XP hotfixes in one shot ... then use a batch script to install each of them (using /q /o /n /z switches) in series ... this way, it'll install the hotfixes *silently* and *doesn't restart the pc*. very useful if you hate the restart after installing hotfix smile.gif

Im not sure if this patch will solve the issue i currently have,
now my IE7 is using highest security level, no cookies is allowed.

coz some flash advertisement is running IE7 in embedded mode constantly, without my knownledge, and sucking my precious internet bandwidth.
there is no way to block it cos IE is running in invisible mode WTFFFF, except using the options above >_>
