u need to understand 1 thing, even when proton close, tax will still apply, n other brand also love to mark up their price cz js like computer brand, they just sell brand...look at current toyota n honda...do u think they really sell car? or just brand n for profit?big fat profit! remember, tax for car import from thai isnt much, n car imported from jap i suppose to be just 5%, how much the company in malaysia jack up d price? u say gov tax, if u recall, tat was few yrs back case, not now
