you'll probably need to use your new passport number. The office (more like counter) is at the ground floor, KL Sentral City Air Terminal.

Don't they have a central CS dept? I don't think the KL Sentral branch answer phones.

problem solved!

airasia office sales - KL sentral
open daily 9am - 9pm

you must take number to queue, there is no chair for you to sit, so must prepare to stand more than 2 hours rclxub.gif
recommended to come early in the morning, coz if u come late there is long queue min hv to wait 2,5 hours

air asia customer service really bad!!!!!!!! vmad.gif mad.gif
coz they never answer call or the line always busy, send email also no reply mad.gif

pity u.

after that incident (call so many times a day not answering), i drive to lcct and go to R68 counter directly, faster and easier.

i rather spend +/- rm20 for petrol (from kajang) going to lcct rather than put my handphone on loud speaker, then go eat, check email, bla3, and still no answer, with same amount, +/- rm20 charged to my phone bill vmad.gif

For ppl in KL, if use house phone or office phone, it's just calling a local number. BUT, for ppl in other states ah, if call Air Asia, the phone bill lagi expensive. Worst if after the long wait on hold, some one answered and tells you problem can not be solved through phone!

I agree, go to the Sales Office directly, easier, quicker and cheaper.

Next time, before book any flight, register to become a member of AirAsia.com with user name and password. After that, just log in with your user name and password on AirAsia.com before booking any flight.

If you do like that, you can just change anything online, including your meal, seat, passport details, etc and no need to call their lousy customer service nor waste your time and vehicle's fuel to go to their office.

No need to register also can "manage booking" online. If you have other people under the same booking, the other person can also access the online "manage booking" if he/she knows the booking number, departure date and destination and the e-mail addr used when booked.

Good thing to register is can get the "Red Alert", get to know first when there's sale.

One thing that can not manage online is "name change". Like I accidentally enter my friend's surname to my surname (blame the internet auto complete function). That's why I kena go to the office to rectify.

oh yea. they are using 03. should using 1300 so all call from fixed line will be charged local. 1800 even better, fixed line call for free! haha. but will them? dont think so brows.gif

btw, for non 03 fixed line, better make call using mobilephone la, cheaper (for postpaid), coz mobilephone rate now is flat rate nationwide.
or, for digi prepaid user, hit rm1 so u will get 12sen/min. for celcom xpax user, add the number to your 15pax. haha laugh.gif

in my case, i want to remove names from the booking (credit shell), which is confirm cannot do it online. so must either call or go to counter.

notes: removes names (credit shell), airasia will credit the amount for that name(s) to your airasia account (it will be like prepaid) so can use the money on next booking + topup.
removes names only applicable if, flight time changed by airasia, or got doctor's letter.

in my case, got 6 names, flight back to lcct time is 0930 during booking (promo fare) but suddenly airasia cancel that flight and moved it to 1240.
3 people cannot wait till 1240 coz got other things to do (should be 1030 already at lcct, new time 1340 at lcct).
since all 6 names are in 1 itinerary, so cant change flight for 3 names only, cant change name too (sell to other people) coz 1 of promo fare terms is no change name.
what i can do is, remove the 3 names, got credit, then book a new flight for 3 names earlier 1 day. dats all ~

POS airasia customer service.. call so damn long and wait in line so long no answer. send e-mails no answer. what the heck. useless budget airline. if you don't want to hire people for manning customer call ins, that is fine. at least answer the damn e-mail then.
