Yes, Wii Sports.
Of course only if u r getting a JPN Wii that doesn't include this.
US Wii came with Wii Sports.

mmm.... For family bonding session only...
Theni might recommend something different,
the 12 games i recommended are mostly "core games" for gamers.
You should get:
Boom Blox
Mario Kart Wii
House of Dead series
Carnival Games
Wii Play
Cooking Mama series
Wii Music
Rayman Raving Rabbit
......

These are for parties and bonding.

I will still recommend Animal Crossing in Family Bonding time, although I'm not sure how many people can play at the same time. Advertisement on Nintendo channel imply two people can play at the same time, maybe more.

mm..... Animal Crossing wor....
Unless there is a festival, or u want to show off your furniture to friends loh.
Not sure how to play in a "party" or "family gathering".

Remember to ask for a US Wii,
I think the Malaysia/Asia Wii also included Wii Sports.

@Khaishin

Yea! I almost forgot Samba de Amigo! Yea, that is a nice party game.

As for Zelda Twilight Princess, if already have the GameCube version,
than can skip Wii one, both almost same.

Sorry for hijacking TS's thread, as I am planning to buy a Wii in 2 years time (2010, yeah weird isn't it ?).

Can Wii connect to the internet ? Want to try out the old games they offer.

Wii is WiFi ready out of the box,
unlike earlier consoles or 360.

Your manual come with a clear instruction on how to detect your wireless network.
Remember, when they ask u to select country, select BRAZIL.
This is the famous "Brazil Hack", because other wise u won't be able to buy Wii Points using Credit Cards.

To surf the net, u gotta download a Browser via WiiWare, which will cost.... like 500 WiiPoint, not sure.

Yes, from your PC/Mac, or straight from your wireless router,
or any wireless internet within detection (say Starbucks)

And i remember u can connect straight to modem with wire as well,
but not sure how to do it, it should be quite simple.
