I have this problem for my pets cages too Normal when you feed fresh fruits / veggies to your pets. Even my mealworms they kacau. So what i do is i put vaseline on the bottom of the cage/stand.

Hello everyone just wondering.. has anyone used a toyogo box for an enclosure for syrian hamsters? DIY~ wanna know if they can possibly burrow the corners.

my syrian seems to be rapidly growing at the rate im plumping him up and the tank seems to be getting smaller for him.. i dont wanna buy anymore tanks coz... wanna try saving up money and also avoiding to buy more pet stuff and my home is infested with unnecessary pet items

You can try petshack they have a wide variety there.. They have the eco straw bedding which you can try.. the bedding can eat one XD Maybe you should bring the hamster to the vet.. it could be a cyst.

Possible reasons why they eat their pups:

- Not experienced mothers (find the babies as a threat- eating them makes the threat go away)
- pups are undersized or abnormal (mom rejects and possibly eats)
- mother could be craving for nutrients after giving birth, eating them replenishes herself.
- you touched her babies..

Wahhhh why all look like human food one.. i also will feel like wanna makan.. the yogurt drops remind me of those Belgian seashell chocolates so yummy~ muffin looks nice.. wooo~ i think i also wanna get some soon

Just got the new vitakraft food yesterday!! got all 5 kinds.. Shared with eric and a few others it all smelt nice especially the barley one my son was asking if he can eat it also LOL.. Then today bought the Vitakraft yogurt treats.. wah sey damm nice the looks of it. But all that is important~ hammies all eat clean clean! Here is a few more additions to my hubby's hamsters.

Thanks sharkie.. they are technically not mine they belong to my husband.. im just babysitting them once in a while lol.. Thanks for the suggestion about the toilet roll. We first planned to tear tissues and put inside but scared =x so how should the toilet roll be? As it is or shud we shred them into pieces thanks again for the suggestion!

Well winter whites are generally tame lol.. that explains the picture.. coz they are not bitey and not to fidgety. Our RC still likes nibbling and also.. cant really keep still not sure about robos hehe.. we never had those before..

Let me know once u tried it~ tell me if they go crazy over it or not planning to get the donut or muffin the next time i go there the cranberry yogurt they love!!

Best wheels for syrian would be the wodent wheel or the comfort wheel. I think the silent wheel also has the 8inch one.. if not mistaken But not many petshops carry 8 inch wheel hehehhe~

I pray to god this wont happen to me lol.. had enuff bites here and there but i have had my 2 syrians since they were small.. so far no nipping or biting. I think if they are handled daily, they wont bite.. unless they are hungry but then again.. anything with a face.. expect it to bite LOL..

The habitrail plastic crispy? lol eric can eat arr? XD But can tell the older zoozone was better, tapping on the plastic also can know hehehe~
