hello guys, got a problem here..

my sis hammsters having a constipation(hard time to poop)..
the hammy just remain in weird position with its tail up(can also see its ass).
it just stays there for about 20 min now with its eyes closed..

is there a medicine for it? of just give something like fruits(papaya, etc)?

Is it a female? And do you have a male hamster with her?

If it is, then it is not constipation. Your female is on heat and the male got her aroused. Females will remain still and her tail up exposing her privates so that the male can copulate with her.

does anyone here knows where to get good hamster cages around klang and subang area....i'm looking for only bar cages...not tanks...thank you in advance.

Usually, cabbage is not so recommended for most pets due to high water content and gas issues. May cause diarrhea or bloating in general and has low nutritional value.

Added on April 27, 2009, 1:24 amI read on some website that feeding a drop of vegetable oil might help the hamster with constipation. You can use an eyedropper to feed it.

Hi everyone,

I need help here. One of my robo hamster is walking with only 3 legs since this morning. She always lift her right rear leg where ever she walk. I suspect she injured her leg. Is there any way it will heal by itself?
Or should i bring it the a vets clinic? I'm not even sure if those veterinarian can help since her leg is so tiny.

Does anybody have the same experience with their hamster like mine? Please help~~

erm....i think taking your hamster to the vet may be the best option...there's nothing you can do...
