I would like to sincerely apologize to all who i offended, particularly in words said publicly or privately in messages or in threads particularly to active community members and new community members. This in particular goes to people such as SnapperJR and t3quila whom i have had many arguements with in the past few weeks. There were words that never needed to be written, regardless of who was right or wrong.
It doesn't matter if they did the same, but on my part, i apologize for behaving in such a manner.
We all had our points proven right or wrong but some good did come out of it.
I am hoping to work closely with the singaporean community to maintain and promote growth for the Asian Community, with their ideas and suggestions put into play whenever feasible.
Again i would like to remind all of you that there will be no more need to argue about what mods to use as we are keeping BOTH mods in our current system.
The Amatuer League will continue with its current ruleset while promod will be adopted in a separate league starting 2009. There will also be a streamline between the two, where teams are allowed to participate within the Amatuer -> Pro levels of the league with greater restrictions where the Pro Levels will follow whatever ruleset that the Asian Community wishes to include. The reason why Pro level leagues/competitions are named so is because you will be up against the best of the region in a more popular mod, promod.
The Amatuer League system will continue as is until the mods become more stable. Participants will likely see some minor changes to the ruleset that will allow a more spectator-viewble material.
Also, we may be releasing some demos/videos on tutorials of basic gameplays in dom and tdm if those game modes are to stay.
On the Meeting on the 20th, a Call of Duty ™ 4 : Modern Warfare gaming Council will be formed. Members will be chosen for the council with a neutral party as its leader. The neutral council leader would likely be one of the sponsor reps.
The aim of the council is to streamline all competitions and tournaments in Malaysia by providing guidelines, materials and ensuring all these events have the necessary equipment or man power. The council will also be an important part of maintaining the competitive structure of the Malaysian CoD4 community and will be extremely active in supporting the community.
Also, there will be no changes to the way we run things, council/clan meetings will still be run to gain input and feedback on events to sustain the gaming experience for all clans.
