for your info, to be entitle for Chartered ACCOUNTANT u need to be a member of MIA . Not ACCA, ACCA is for certified public accountant....hope u get the idea,

still the professional body is not compulsary for accounting...

Unless of course, u wan to be recognize...

Wrong statement ...

After u gain ACCA membership, you can apply for MIA membership . ACCA is recognised under MIA.

hehehe, google the MIA website first then u get the idea....

MIA do recognize ACCA,

BUT, in order to qualify to be entitled for CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT you just need accounting degree that is recognize by MIA.

And for your info ACCA is one of them, though it is not a degree.

AND you don't need ACCA in order to qualify to be CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT if u have recognized acc. degree ..

hope that's help...

or u can read again the statement that u quote previously, i do think u misinterpret it..
