Oh darn, should have stumbled upon this thread earlier.
If I can't find a 705SH, then it'll have to be the LG KF350.
But the 705SH looks so much better. >.<"

it was my friends, had to order for him on yahoo japan auctions, then he traded it for an unlocked sx633a to another friend which used to be his, a regular white one with softbank branding on it is much easier to find.

i never used a vodafone branded one, but slight differences in firmware, where the vodafone live icon is, is replaced with a yahoo! logo. But for the most part are the same.

The other option is the european 770sh, but only in black and silver color, and two Chinese versions, sx633/sx633a and wx-t78 from taiwan. 770sh is going to be the cheapest (under rm300 on ebay), but with only 1.3mp camera and not a 2.0. Also hardware is slightly different, doesnt support flash and no chinese/japanese display. The chinese versions and the european version both support gprs/3g/data/mms, japanese 705sh does not.

you need to use both, I know in the US i have to have the +1xxx-xxx-xxxx and then also xxx-xxx-xxxx. What i do is have one set on the sim card memory and the other on the phone memory, so far on my so905ics and 920sh its working fine. Usually I change it as calls go by to those i talk and sms with

Is there any other docomo phone theme to share about? =O

it is possible to change the menu layout on p905i with a different jpg, but I thin layout might be different on n905iu, b/c there is no oneset. If i remember correctly you can change the icons, etc. MIght have to make your own menu jpg layout

I can see that Perfume666 is selling D905i. I would like to try a jphone but I prefer a flip phone. With the budget I have now i can only afford D905i which is being sold by Perfume666. Any idea on other models besides that with that kinda of price range?

you can buy my ancient 903t for really cheap with international shipping tongue.gif

btw, sonic_cd: just wondering since you still have so905ics do you experience anny freezing on it when using the zoom? for the most part zooming works , but there are times where it will freeze and I have to power off the phone by holding the power button
http://www.nttdocomo.co.jp/english/info/no.../080304_03.html

also what month is your so905ics?

Too bad I dont know how to get my so905ics updated, need that update with the fixes on it.

I might help with serious problem like phone cant switch on (serious injured) it is worth to bother my friend out there in japan.

*
not sure, my issue requires mostly just use the docomo usim in japan and run the software update to the latest phone software, has the zooming freeze issue that was listed on the docomo site
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=Post...1&qpid=23532732
though something i cant replicate, it just happens random.
