Hi, my fren just bought an iphone 3G frm low yatt. It;s an Australian iphone 3G frm wat the model no. stated.
He bought frm low yatt, and i try to install free software like facebook into his iphone, but cant' use at all. Will keep crash. all the software frm cydia n installer installed all cant use. It seem like the phone is locked down.. i want try to restore the phone to unjailbreak version but i afraid will effect the phone to locked down n cant use the maxis simcard. ANy expert there know what i can do?

and they installed some cydia n itunes apps which i cant delete at all.. or synced in itunes.

Regrading the sames, i went to low yat and they install the cydia and installer, and now when i download the apps from itunes and tried to open it, it only open for 1-2 secs b4 it close. so basically it doesnt work.

So how can i solve the problem? already reboot, reinstall apss to/from comp but no result, plz help

What you to do is sign-up an itunes account.

sorry if i have make u miss understood.

already sign an account in itune, and already download the apps.
just that when i transfer the apps to my iphone and tried to open it , it doesnt work

If I were you I'd contact the person who sold it to me and ask him what happened to the phone until can be like that - or at least get him to restore to refurbished condition and you manually do the jailbreak again.

yelah... since ure buying at malaysia.... u can push him kaw2 and make sure tht ur iphone is usable....

anyways.... ure paying big $$$ for tht phone....

i believe you need to restore to a new/same firmware, maybe it will solve the issue for those app installed from itunes, as for the software you dl from itunes, don't worry because if im not wrong, if you already dl the software from itunes, when you connect and dl again, all software you dl will be in your iphone back since itunes will check with your account what software you dl and install it into your iphone( at least itunes do it for me)


and if you jailbreak it you can install software and i guess it will not have any problem with your iphone after that( hopefully )..
