Since you said that, after change to Vista. The problem is a missing audio card/sound card driver that can be downloaded and installed easily from the manufacturer of the motherboard (if the audio/sound card is integrated) or from audio/sound card manufacturers website. Please state the model of your motherboard so that I may be able to further assist you.

Bro, you don't have to get any other cables such as Y-cable, it's just a waste of money. Economy going into recession bro. sweat.gif Anyway, please download and install your audio driver for Vista for 956P-DS3 from here. Hope, I've helped. icon_rolleyes.gif

err can u help me too?hehe.. it happened to me when change to vista too..i currently using Creative Audigy Value..i already download driver from Creative website but cant use mixer software..for example to adjust bass, equalizer etc..so any other way to install mixer software for Creative sond card?
*
Sure no problem, I'll help anyone if they ask me too. icon_rolleyes.gif Please download and install the Creative Audigy Value driver for Windows Vista from here. To enable mixer support for your audio card, you can only control the mixers through "Control Panel" and not @ the taskbar. Hope I've helped.

Not complicated/hard to find drivers for Vista. It's just that, some drivers are just made for XP icon_rolleyes.gif
