 Is this setting ok for 1st time overclocking?

Hi...

I'm using cooler master hyper 212, asus P5QL-E (P43 chipset) motherboard and Q6600 processor.

I overclock my processor to 3Ghz by increasing the fsb slowly through bios.Is it ok to do like this and i left all other setting at auto.

juz remind ... voltage better dont auto wor..

i burned my DQ6 last time caz i put my voltage auto.. it increase with my FSB.. i increase my FSB to 450mhz.. then my northbridge burst.. lolz..

dont noe other manafacturer mobo how..

do u found ur sweet spot of ram n cpu?? what ram u using too.. it is really related..

should b ok at 3.2GHz.. ur ram is hyperX o not? if not, dont push ur ram so high..

valueram cant tahan that much.. really unstable..

thanks for guiding me firstly.what mobo brand were u having bro that happen like that?since u said better don't set auto voltage, then what should i do?do i need to set a fix vcore by typing it manually?i don't understand what you are trying to tell me bro with the statement found sweet spot of ram and cpu?mind to explain a bit cause couldn't understand much.sorry.i try to do as u said bro.do u mean i should reduce the multiplier and increase the fsb more bro and thats more better? rclxub.gif i'm using normal kingston value ram 2GB X 2 800 mhz.can u plz guide me more bro cause i got confused a bit now.sorry.
