Anyone here owns a strat that has a 6 screw trem? Can those trems dive downwards? Mine seems to be fixed
and cant move like a fixed bridge.

Its the normal strat trem with 6 screws infront. Does your's have it? Coz they seem fixed to the body and can't pull downwards...

yes mine is the same trem. let me understand you - pull downwards to get higher pitch? mine still can do that a little bit (like 2 keys higher). if u want to get much higher pitch, the trick is to push the bar first, hit a note & pull it back wink.gif

assuming ur springs are loose enough...

even if the springs are tight u still can dive bomb abit unless u never eat rice tongue.gif

anyway, from what i experienced so far, usually one of two things.
the trem has stuck to the lacquer abit.
the pickguard isnt cut properly so cannot dive without the pickguard blocking.
