Tokyoflash watches are stylish, high-tech and futuristic-looking wristwatches that are imported from Japan and which must be seen to be believed!

Why Tokyoflash Watches???

Quick: what time is it? If you can glance down at your wristwatch and figure it out in, oh say, less than two seconds, it may just be too easy for you. And that’s a wasted opportunity to train your mind, my friend. Instead, wear a wristwatch that forces you to go to the equivalent of a mental gym whenever you want to know the time!

As timepieces go, the wristwatch has gone a long way since Patek Philippe created the first one in the late 1800s. It started out as jewelry for royalties, then evolved to fashion accessory, and finally to a mass-produced practical item. Now, thanks to the folks at Tokyoflash, watches can also be a symbol of geekdom!

haha...actually for Oberon, no need to send for tinting. People have been asking me whether I tinted the screen or not. tongue.gif
It's reflective as well, so no need to add or put any mirror effect sticker.
But now and again, people will be asking how to read the time and I have to go on the long process of explaining to them.

its the stock sticker. I was telling the other guys earlier that my watch still has the plastic cover over it. even at the band.

hv u been using urs often? does the circle design at the band scratch or fade off easily?

erm.....how you guys prevent the watch get scratch ?
cause the watch is thicker alot if compared to any usual watch
but progression is bigger than barcode rite ? from the pics....
so the percentage of hittin some other thing such as other people's watch, bracelet, table, chair...etc etc
when i wearin my watch my mind is set to 'protectin the watch'
so when go crowded people place, i will put my hand behind at my backside to prevent knockin with other people/things
quite susah jaga ler = =

Here are some of my little collections...other brands included...
you can see a few tokyoflash are inside..total 12 of them..but its scattered around..here and there...some even lost or spoilt.
i been purchasing from Tokyoflash since like 5 years ago...for some, i cant even find the model at the site anymore..

I just happened to bump into the site..and made my first purchase and it never stop until recently..
Some battery dead..as usual..but some of them,
the LED went berserk, it didnt show the time properly..suppose to show 3 lights but 1 appeared.. sad.gif ..
or the LED blinks when its not supposed to..maybe battery is weak? i don know..

I believe the quality of the watch depends on the BRAND, those like PIMP or Barcode or Tweleve 5-9 are most probably more lasting that others..
Try not to get their own branding ones TOKYOFLASH, the quality is not as good as those i mentioned.
All the built quality are on par..but the main concern is the performance...

This was my FIRST purchase years back. Apparently this model can last..but with some scratches..

got 5 tokyoflash watches in this pic, can u spot it?

Now i didnt wear any tokyoflash anymore..after some time u will think its more practical to wear something less fancy..hehe..
so i turn to this..at least it shows time properly and with BT functions.. thumbup.gif

Each buyer can only purchase one and only one 1YEN watch.
You are lucky to stumble across that.

Everyone else is still waiting for their lucky day to come. cry.gif

Have to buy the 1 yen watch before the item from the basket gets thrown out cry.gif

If buy the watch alone at 1 yen is not worth, 2k yen shipping fees

We are increasing our registered customer discount to 1000 yen ($11) for a limited time exclusively for you! Just enter the coupon code CR46 in the shopping basket when checking out to receive this discount off every order you place over the next few days.

I'm not sure whether this is still valid or not. It's for Christmas promotion only.
If not you can try KM63 for 600 YEN rebate.

Good luck! icon_rolleyes.gif

100 YEN is around RM4
1 YEN = RM0.04

So if Mugen is 6,900 YEN
6900 X 0.04 = RM XXX.XX

just came across this thread, very interesting & special too. in the tokyoflash website stated any purchase above 10,000 yen free shipping is it applicable to overseas or just within Japan? from my understanding it should include overseas correct if i'm wrong.
if that the case i'm gonna wait for the next bulk discount sale to reach that quota to buy & it's gonna save us a lot.

As a matter of fact, the warranty for all watches valid 1 year only.
So far so good for me. Wearing it daily except when doing physical stuff.

Lol...you have to adjust to your wrist size by going to any watch shop.
They will do for you at a minimum charge. I done mine at Times Square price at RM5 service. But i think you can get cheaper doing it elsewhere.
Keep the extra straps just in case.

hye every1...

just wanna ask...

1) are there any tax charge...
is it the price state at the website include the tax..
or the tax are charge separately (extra payment when the watch arrive here)

2) just thinking to get the rouge series...it is worth to me to buy it since the price is quite high (rm6++)...

TQ biggrin.gif

You both should just buy the watches together so that can get free shipping. Don't have to waste 1,500 yen for shipping fees.

So what colour LED did you choose?
Can post more pics of the watch or not?

nice watch. Will add u to the user list in the first page later. But the strap looks very 'slim' or 'thin'. Hopefully it has the solid feeling of a quality watch while wearing it.

their cool watch always featured in magazine or some gadgetz site.
if u dont trust the quality..get those famous one..like PIMP, BARCODE..big names..try not to get their OWN branding TOKYOFLASH, its not as lasting as the others..from my opinion...

I'm currently using the Oberon SS.
I noticed that the watch kept on resetting to the default time.
Sometimes the watch will hang and has no respond when I press the button.
Is the battery of the watch weak now and need changing? But the LED is still as bright as new now.
Or is there any other problem?

How's the battery life like?

Those watches look like they drain battery fast, not to mention they're pretty vulnerable to scratches blink.gif

You can only buy it from the web site. The watches are not available at any other places. Some brand try to imitate the watches but buying the real genuine ones will be the best.

Shipping will take only 5days to reach your house coz using express mail service. smile.gif

Hi!

I registered here only for this topic.
I'm a Tokyoflash fan too. A few years ago, I bought a Twelve 5-9 L (http://www.tokyoflash.com/en/watch_museum/twelve_5-9/lversion/).

Now I'm thinking about buying a new one, a Nekura Tundra (http://www.tokyoflash.com/es/watches/nekura/tundra/), but I'm not sure because I haven't seen enough photos. Besides, I don't understand what "engraved" means.

Anyone has some Nekura style watch, and could upload some images? It's too much thick and heavier? How it fits in wrisp?

Thank you!! smile.gif

I guess you can engrave some wordings on that watch. But I'm not that sure.
You can try to ask them a question and they will respond to you within 24 hours.
The tokyoflash crew very friendly so you will get the answer there. biggrin.gif

I thought this thread has somewhat 'died', but since there are no appropriate sections beside this... had to post it.

From their FAQ, we've to pay our own transportation fees:

Dalam hal pertukaran atau pengembalian wang, anda akan perlu membayar kos penghantaran kembali dan kami hanya menerima kembali produk melalui mail biasa atau Pos Nasional anda. Kami tidak menerima pengembalian yang disampaikan oleh UPS, Fedex, DHL atau syarikat penghantaran lain kerana pemeriksaan kustom mereka yang ketat.

Since there are chances that a digital watch internal components are easily spoilt, the charges to send to SG might be quite high sad.gif
