Yeah Myvi is around that mileage. Even my mom's Myvi manual can only clock maximum 280KM-300KM for a full tank. It's consider very high FC for a manual car.
*
full tank pump in is how many litres or RM? need the figure only can really determine which one is more fuel efficient.

FOR ME tongue.gif
1. it is fuel efficient..check back my post....RM50 for 500+KM
2. pickup slow at 1st but fast after i shift to 3rd gear or 60KM/H
3. noise is noisy...because this saga almost no soundproof...just the floor have
other need u to do it yourself ....bonnet, door, fender, trunk etc.
*
RM50 for 500KM++. this really godlike de in maintaining FC. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
my RM54(current price) = 30 litres only last me around 350KM++--.

215/40/R16 has the smallest deviation comparing to m-line stock tyres. slightly bigger only. but i think the FC will be higher due to larger traction surface, thus heavier. correct me if im wrong.

*
washed my engine bay twice. leave ure bonnet open with good air ventilation around for better drying process. just remember not to instantly spray the cold water onto the hot engine after driving as this sudden change of temperature may possibly crack it. better be safe than sorry.

Understood your answer. I can't expect much from a RM40k car and it is made by Proton (no offence).
The reason why I consider Saga is I urgently need a car and as current economy situation, it is not so wise to get a foreign brand car. I am closely reading the reported problems and its FC before I put my signature on the hire & purchase. Thanks smile.gif
*
in my 1 cent worth of view, blm is worthing wat it is priced at so far. besides some kinda small faults like the power windows switch on the driver side got some problem now, the FC, power, handling n some mostly major components r quite on the reasonably working level. blush.gif

i use auto...3 months already...so far no problem also...hope its ok...sometimes i pull the gear leaver quite rough..and not many times i put the gear at N when at traffic light..mostly i put it at D..some say this is not good...some say its ok..
should be ok if it's only for a while. a lot of heat generated out from the gearbox due to speed difference between the moving engine flywheel and the still tyre end. as u r not moving, therefore heat dissipation normally using moving air will be null. so this will be up to the gearbox design whether the heat can be handled efficiently in a situation such as yours.

Had the same problem before. sad.gif Even running slightly rough roads also can heard the obvious noise from passenger side A-pillar. Initially thought the noise was from either dahsboard or side mirror. Went SC couple times vmad.gif and finally found the noise was actually coming from outside of the passenger side fender.  sweat.gif  The join part between fender corner and bottom of A-pillar. There a gap between these 2 sheets of metal which might cause some irritating noise when car vibrates.

You can either put some thin slice of rubber sheet in between and tighten the screw. Alternatively you can just use some force and pull the fender metal edge out abit then it may not possible to contact the A-pillar metal surface. The knocking may tunnel into A-pillar and give you the wrong impression that the noise is coming from inside the pillar.  doh.gif

Got some intermittent annyoing noise coming from clutch and brake pedal when step on it. According to SC this is quite common, maybe due to cheapo quality spring used on the pedal join. Mark some grease on it will solve the problem:)
*
i got this kinda sound from my clutch oso. went to SC n they told me it's caused by rusted part. did u guys check ure power steering pump too. mine got rusted under the aircond hose n the driveshaft. the SC ppl help me to sprayed with black paint bought by me n redirected the aircond hose to the open ground.

after change the IAFM, the engine breathe better? performance?
*
performance wise still the same. they just changed the module n previously, nth was wrong with it except the tak tak (teppet-like) sound, which im not comfortable with. according to the foremen, it cost around rm1.3k ++ if changed without warranty.

I really wonder what is the logic behind this? coz i thought that if we rev too high not good for engine, on the other hand, it's good for FC?  blink.gif
Eh btw, anyone experienced the "Phhfiii, PHfiii" sound (Like whistling while you are driving sometimes), i told SC yesterday (Fixed the module and the window and this) about that and they said it's a gap at the door and they narrowed the gap ~

But today ~~~ i sill hear the PHfiii PHfiii sound, since  2-4 days ago
*
if im not wrong about ure problem, i alwiz hear this kind of sound when im accelerating slowly. sounds like turbo inside my car. really enjoy this. tongue.gif
