use 2nd gear accelerate is better..cos 1st gear really short..



i been once used 2nd gear to "run" from stationary condition instead of 1st gear...but nid to rev a bit la...

It sounds like coming from my left, but i'm not really sure whether is left front door or left back door ~~
Even if i drive at 60km/h or at 80km/h (And i slightly open only my right window which i always do but no sound last time) i can hear the "Phhhiiii Phiiii" a moderately sound whistling sound @@

I tot it's supposed to be fixed yesterday @@

It;s not a critical issue, but that sound will make you feel "what is that??"

If it's from IAFM shall we do anything about it?

after i turn off my key, the fan at the front still turning, why arr???

even after i on the alarm... still turning for 15minutes...

it happen twice on that day... 1st time only...

i open the bonnet n see... wow the spinning speed so fast...

engine too hot arr??? possible?? or like turbo engine auto cool off???

My new BLM Manual already 200km, from full tank, only use up 2 bar only. I'm aiming for 400km for a full tank. I rarely pick up (speed up) the car, let it slowly gain speed.

BTW, anyone know will it spoil the car if I let free gear at the slope?

Not sure what fuel using as it pump by the SA, I just got the car for few day. I really don't press the pedal, just enough to drive the car. Anyway from my understanding its doesn't mean it use less fuel if maintain 2k rpm, the FC are control by your right leg. As it you are driving up hill but using 4th gear, sure the rpm <2k, but you press more fuel than usual. I drive at 80km/h at 2.5k rpm, but I just touch the pedal that enough to maintain the speed.

I think good control of your right leg and gear shifting is a crucial to lower the FC.

BTW You really rev the car, 4.5k rpm really high. You must driving fast.

I think it doesn't matter, as you don't run the engine or left the engine idle mean nothing change in the oil. Think again, how to do with the Proton stock/ the show room car which already idle for more then 2 month. They rare move the car or not drive at all. Does they need to service every month even though the engine rarely run?

im suggesting to check ur stuffs u put under the drawer..and also like mr alien suggesting put sponge between dash board and windscreen.  but the best thing is to check with the sc first..

Neither do i receive the extra oil back after service mmmm, this is a new information that we need to check whether they over fill the engine mmmm after how many months servicing @@

Means they should give us the oil back? If they never return and keep it and we paid for the full one bottle price ? mmm

Numeni, i encounter those rat tat tat sounds at the dashboard at times too ~

I drive a manual saga, if going down slope I neutral my gear will it save fuel compare with in gear 5 ?? Izzit good to gear box ?? 
When I neutral my gear, my car will move faster compare in gear 5. After finish slope it rev d engine 1st then only put back 5th gear

That happened to me too. The tint got lots and lots of bubbles already. Planning to remove the SafeTint and install a better quality one. But....after removed the back window with demister lines....no more demister functions. I seriously don't know what is the best solution. SafeTint = No effect at all on blocking heat.

The demister line part that window also had the SafeTint installed. Since I want to opt a better quality tint, why not remove all the tint originally installed from Proton and install with better one. But if I were to remove the back part window's tint I am 100% sure the demister lines sure will putus during the process of removing tint and then no more demister function. I willing to have no tint when I receive the car and then install my prefered tint brand.
