Lovely FC =D

Before 1st Service: 0.18~0.19/km

After 1st Service: 0.14/km

Is this also because these days I run highway more? Hmm.

I bet you are one light right footed. Gonna get my one which is auto. Don't know whether I made the right choice. It's because all I know: Auto = FC high. Especially for Saga. Coz when I test drive right, it always changes the gear very slow and often changes around 3K to 3.5K rpm which is tend to have high FC. I am surprise by your FC figure.
*
Light footed means...?

These days I run highway more, most of it rpm3, 100kmph.

Heard some ppl said that high rpm better fc?

Some say under 2.0rpm better fc. Lol.

High Fc mayb related to ur driving style, mine car from 1000km mileage til now is improving from 0.15 to 0.13 like that, i travel 70km daily to work and home...for manual user, you have to know when should change to next gear.... for auto user, have no idea, mayb can refer to other BLMers who drive auto... laugh.gif

going to do balancing and alignment, coz next week outstation to JB, all the way rev~ laugh.gif
*
Wow that's far, mine's about 33km single journey.. highway.. for auto users, just make sure you maintain or ensure smooth transition of the revolution.. don't suddenly floor the oil pedal..that tend to suck more fuel.. and sometimes when the traffic in front's slowing down, just release the oil pedal no need to hit brake straightaway..the blm will slow down quickly..hahaa...then..aircond also suck fuel a lot, if drive in the early morning open ur window can already la laugh.gif

mine 2000k+ mileage..RM0.14..shell green

btw, the auto alarm arm should happen after 30 seconds rite...but mine is very weird...sometimes got, sometimes dont have... rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
I think the alarm right, if within that 30 second u open the door and then u close it then no auto-lock function will be activated no matter how long u wait.

But within that 30 secs, none of the doors are open manually then it will auto-lock.

I tested that before...so should be correct..unless actually mine's faulty lol

my experience after 4 days:

pro:
+ spacious
+ suspension soaks up bumps pretty good
+ acceptable ICE
+ cheap

cons:
- delay caused by 'drive by wire'
- A-pillar blind spot very large for me
- short gear ratio (5th gear can drive at 40kmh)
- dark interior (my preference; it makes the space look smaller)
- noisy engine because no sound proof

my FC unknown yet...
*
Yea..the delay's really...X_X..i got a feeling kancil got better pick up even sometimes lol.

What's ICE btw?

Ermm, wanna ask right, I heard that there's a Proton Parts Center at Shah Alam...is there a SC there too? Cuz my window there, got water leaking on the inside (something like a line of water, usually happens when big rain or wash car)...planning to take to a SC...so wanna take it to a more "responsible" SC...not those simply play around with ur car and told u to service outside...

Help help please >.<

Thanks sifus..

sure...it's part of the warranty...any sound also u can complain
but i prefer u try find where it comes from 1st
the SC ppl might give reason...cannot fix...dn't know where the sound is lah
at least u find the direction of the sound coming from 1st...easier
*
If the rattling sound leave it will become big problem or not? it's not driving me mad la, cuz sometimes got sometimes dont have, but i juz worried if it becomes big problem then i better fix it now than later...

Do you think our saga can drift? brows.gif Lol.

Anyone tried it before? With modded saga or non-modded?

@NicJolin: Hehe, also considered as enlightenment also ma. A mini one. Hahaa.

@Vincent: Yes, especially when going down a slope+sharp curve, roll like...corkscrew. Lol.

@Heavencloud: One thing I love most about blm is that you can park just about anywhere since the size and length is just cute and nice. Like a dice sweat.gif

I am so sorry if I asked this question. It is normal to have like a small scratch on nearby the edge of the bonnet? Is already got some brownish colour. I suspect is rusted. My car is just only 2 days old. N is it normal for steering wheel to jerk when air-con kicks in? Sorry for the lengthy questions.
Try refer to one or two pages back, same air-cond/jerk problem.

All sifus here...is there any remedy for hair scratches on blm? Thanks..

wow.. ur one nice la..
mine saga mt m-line.. can't de.. only 300km nia...full tank

I don't think MT/AT/M-line/B-line affect much of your fuel consumption significantly.

Most prob is driving habit, and the type of road.

Mine mileage about 4000+km, done first service but not second, latest FC (also average):

28.66litre Shell green Rm51.59 can go for about 357.1 km. Which is about 0.14 per km.

80% highway, 20% normal road with traffic lights, aircond off 85% of the time.

Rev..usually more than 3 seldom goes to 4.

Aircond and traffic jam, I realize, suck fuel a lot.
