afaik BLM doesn't use DBW for the throttle so can't use the booster...lemme check mine again later. And can you all please stop talking about the sheared cranks...that's old story already due to early batch miscalculation of sinter forge technique causing it to shear

Haven't heard since then such cases even with the leadfoots out there. And if proton continued to produce those, they'd be in a risky position of being sued for negligent fault wouldn't they?

juz wanna make sure isit that BLM throttle with IAFM?eventually not about the wire technology?

From wat i read from wat i googled for this electronic throttle control system,i conclude myself that actually our BLM has this function in it as all DBW engine do have such stuff to control their system.only that the tuning of such stuff is different.eventually our BLM do not and will not need such stuff in it coz its juz a semi-auto controlling system to ur engine response. a good example is the ABS braking system.it initiates when driver press on the brakes and same goes to this system.its not a real-time system..how to say ler..i oso duno how to explain ler.. doh.gif biggrin.gif

whats blm redline? 200?

Another thing are.. i just let my friend drive my car...when reached home i smelled  burned tyre or brake..and i realised he didnt release the handbrake..it was about 3-4 km...is it really bad for the breakpad?

and hah...i found something interesting from bluedevil blog again electronic booster for campro...got pics but no links where can i get more info about this thing...here a quote from his blog

HI guys , proudly to present electronic booster for campro series . Feel tired with lag ? Booster is the stuff to change the entire part throttle respond which you can't experience with original DBW .

means over 6.5k rpm too long and too much..means going for drag and speed.normally over 150kmj will reach so.

Let me have a look at mine tomorrow since it's very easy to identify after I removed the engine cover but to be honest that booster is just a signal amplifier to indicate to ECU to open throttle at greater opening since DBW's input is resistance based output which means the ECU reads the voltage being reported back and corresponds accordingly. So the base issue lies in the programming itself

Short of taking the crank out and subjecting it to tensile testing, I'd say no

actually its quite a redefined statement for the system.our car running on programmed ecu.means there are meant to rev till a certain limit then reacts on certain situations.so having those stuff in the engine will eventually "corrupt" the system from semi auto, to auto..AFAIK, its sounds like a virus.haha.

If u look at SAGA BLM now, some of it have a round light at both the left and right sides of the car. This is the more expensive model while the old ones that does not have it, is cheaper. Frankly I prefer the old model. Why pay more for something as redundant as that? I know they have additional things but we can buy it cheaper outside.

Clearly that's not how an ECU works. ECU works based on feedback. Feedback is from sensors and for general systems running the main feedback is based on an electrical value. DBW only gives feedback based on the pedal position. How? Imagine a simple example. Look at your radio. You turn the knob clockwise you get a louder volume right? How urgent you want it to be louder is dependent on how quick you twist that knob. So the booster acts as "trickster" telling the ECU that you supposedly pressed the pedal to a position you want to press at a more urgent rate. That's how I believe it to be

year 2008 just left 10days,included some piblic holidays...who book new saga just can get in next year...unless u pay cash, and they got stock...

so who get car in 2009 cant get the old price,it is prohibit by proton, unless u got lubang la...if u want 2009 manufacture car, must wait until march

**note-those who get car in Jan or Feb 2009 their car is 2008 manufacture, but their car is register in 2009

Proton got right to increase their price without anything add on(supply and demand theory),additional things is just consolation for consumer only...they did advertised and advice who want new saga better book it in early of december, before they increase the price...

resale value for car register in 2008 and 2009 maybe not the same,i guess 2009 will be higher abit gua,but car in 2009 cost u additional rm1500,if u dun plan to sell off ur saga, then vr sorry to u...
