v9 is kinda light for me .. CM690 is much heavier .. but i do prefer CM690 cause of its toughness ..

Nah I dont care if its new, I read up reviews saying V9's top is very flimsy and its just plastic.
Also, the V9 does not sell 230mm fans.

I'm planning to get the CM 690 since its easy to get, and cheaper.

Why??
I think TT isn't that good.
Antec PSU is well-known for its performance, CPU Coolers i support Arctic Cooling.
Their Freezer Xtreme rules!
I was planning to get that but its not available in Ipoh so instead i got a DeepCool Ice Tower instead.

my fren using HAF liao .
its okay2 la for bang for bucks casing .
very cheap and convinient .
but trust me .
it sucks dust like 1 year for other casing = 3 months for diz casing .

besides d front fan cannot remove so far i can see (sorry if im wrong)

and any modding would be restricted .

but for airflow its superb .
d casing name itself oso HAF maa

HAF 932 = High Air Flow 932.

Added on January 31, 2009, 1:48 amedited : diz casing d front part can pull out to clean d fan .
can also mount better air flow 12CM or 14CM fan .

TT is not good??? My god!!! TT is a very good brand IMO.... Their toughpower PSU are superb in terms of quality..... And as for their casings, I hav tried them before and they are pretty good in their design.... The onli bad thing is that it is very hard to find full aluminium tower onli.....

In Ipoh, u also can try to go to PC depot.... Not necessarily go to Yik Foong one.... I still remember the days when I was there.... Also, one more place u can check for good prices in Ipoh is Kiasu in Yik Foong....

Added on January 29, 2009, 1:07 pmAnd btw, I may be going back to Ipoh this weekend so, if TS wan to buy anything from KL, just let me know....

Hehehe...
If you want to get good, branded stuff and affordable prices go PC Depot, they're the cheapest with lots of varieties.
As for Yik Foong they sell some branded, some NOT branded and more onto graphic cards and processors, motherboard etc.

PC Depot's CM prices are somewhat high FYI.
I got my CM 690 for RM 250 about 1 year ago, and now PC Depot is still pricing them at near RM300.

Just FYI.

the 24pin will easily reach the motherboard...
