I have 3 debts which are cc-13k, cc-2k, PL-19k respectively. I have not paying installments for almost 6 months, it definitely falls into NPL, special attention account in ccris, and interest keeps rolling.
Recently I received calls from bank collection department, which they claim, but I know they are outsource debt collectors, trying to "threaten" me to pay lump sum or more than a half of my debts (cc-13k). With the impolite manner, they "force" me to pay off in lump sum, or else will file me legal actions and say "don't go to akpk as they cannot help you, i have authority to block akpk to help you if you fail to pay off", such rude!!!
What I want to ask is:
1) they can only file me legal action to cease my credit facilities in ccris so that i cant get any from other banks right?
2) I dont own them much to 50k (heard that is new policy for bankruptcy ceiling?), still they can sue me for brankrupcy?
3) should I settle off with money borrowed, family or friends, negotiate with banks, or go for akpk?
4) god damn can I complain those debt collectors to BNM as they threatening me?
since the ammount u owe is not too big, best i would say is seek help from the bank u owe. something like rayuan.
get in touch wit financial officer, they will transfer ur debt into a more manageable loan product wit lower interest & stretched repayment period.
most of the bank, they will giv akpk chance.
once the debt transfered into new loan, dun miss any payment.
go for akpk as ur last resort, if u really desperate.
once enrolled, u hav to cancel all ur CC, all ur debt will join into a single 1, where akpk will offer lower interest wit fix repayment period.
note: early repayment is not possible witout negotiation wit akpk.
then, miss a single payment, coz akpk very strict.
if u miss 1, u're automatically out of their program.
if u enroll in akpk, u'll get protection from them as bank can no longer chase debt from u.
inatantly immortal.
