Hi, is there a way to stop/prevent parents from taking bank loan?

My parents keep taking bank loan/credit card debt to join some illegal investment, and still think one day they can get back profit but now banks already calling in non-stop, and they cannot repay anymore.

I worry they might not even consider to go AKPK because they keep believe that soon enough the illegal investment thing will give them back the money then that time they can repay debts.

So I wonder is there any way to ban them from bank loan?

Maybe I should put in the point that, I'm considering to help repay the debt but I want to make sure they don't do it again.

Hi Guys, I would like to check on AKPK. I have cc outstanding about RM8k+. Im planning to visit AKPK office and have some discussion on to make it monthly payment. Can someone let me know how this AKPK works? And will they be open during weekends like saturday since im working during office hours

rm8k++ no need go akpk just discuss with bank convert term loan.

better tke some serious action now if not later bank will come with legal charge..

if really cant make payment better go akpk if amount is huge.

really? the last time I checked with bank they asked me to to pay certain amount like 2K upfront and then only can monthly payment.

try ask them convert cc to term loan. try not to go akpk with that amount its really low amount no worth to go.

btw, how long does it takes from full settlement to get this AKPK letter?
is it automatic sent by AKPK or you need to inform AKPK with all the "banks clearance letters" (assuming that are needed)

im asking for a refund for my excess payment , almost 6k.

i received an email about fullsettlement request yesterday and received another email about fullsettlement approval and guideline to download fullsettlement letter this morning.
i believe that akpk get the confirmation from the bank and the system will auto generate the fullsettlement letter

Congrats bro! So, what's your next step? Take the letter to BNM to clear off your name from their system? Or just wait?

im planning to apply one/two credit card for emergency purpose and make sure got at least 4 month salary in my saving
