good to see this thread taking off. nike air maxims can be found at most regular nike stores (pavillion, 1U, pyramid, etc). most of my sheos i bought online via forums, and not via online stores. here are some online stores (located in HK for cheaper shipping fees): http://www.footalog.com/http://store.kix-files.com/http://rmkstore.com/i've bought from all these places before without any problems. as for piets... yes, they're a super underrated shoe that deserves more credit. unfortunately, i haven't had much time to wear them, hence the decision to sell them. will pm you in a bit with regards to price arsnl This post has been edited by r3kahsttub: Jan 14 2010, 04:08 PM

hahaha, the ones i wear the least because i'm not able to pair it up myself?? heh, anyway - the best way to pair (imo) a loud pair of shoes is shorts (khaki/navy/camo) with a plain white t-shirt and then loud sneakers. here are some examples (not the same shoes, but loud enough, i think!):

i believe the purpose of the maxim was to generally reduce weight via flywire material. that, they have managed to achieve... but like most here, i don't agree with it. the toebox is funky, the weight is (imo) too light, and the material yellows over time. unlike good ol mesh: Added on January 20, 2010, 11:40 pmone of the kingpins of air force 1s; mayor recently granted complex magazine an exclusive interview where he spoke about his top 50 air force 1 picks... http://best.complex.com/lists/Mayors-Top-50-Air-Force-1sThis post has been edited by r3kahsttub: Jan 20 2010, 11:40 PM

nike air force 1 ueno sakura (2004). 200 pair hyperstrike release in ueno town, japan. comes with a wooden box with hat inside. one of the rarest and best constructed air force 1 around, imo.

i have a lot of nikes. a LOT. the least comfortable ones i have are undoubtedly nike SBs. the best for (a lot of) casual walking i would say.. between an air force 1 and the various airmaxes.

yeah; i wanted to try and break-in a pair of chucks, but the discomfort was much too much for me to handle. i eventually... chucked them away. pun intended.
suntuckieeeee: those are not halo sbs; they're babybear SBs released in 2007 and the fenoms are gold package unwashed.

the untaiwans cost me ~myr900; got them straight from japan through a proxy.
quality on them is super good. bear in mind that these are 7 years old and never worn before. better pics over the weekend.
