Guys, how to i remove the ink stain, it's from a marker pen..

i use this braun buffel messenger bag for college, i'm not sure it got the stain, but i'm sure it's from a pen ink..

The Ink isnt quite visible from the pic ( bad camera quality ), it's actually not that visible in real life either unless you look closely to it..

to my knowledge, the only way to remove/reduce ink stains would be to use a wet cloth and try to wipe it out.. you can also use a little hand soap, wipe finish with a clean cloth and then a dry cloth..

dude, just go to the pharmacy, and ask for isopropyl alcohol and clean the ink stain.

wtf?

gave you advice already and for sure the stain will come off without any damage.

Added on December 15, 2008, 9:21 pmnote it may not work now cos the ink has set into the leather.

oh well, pity.

For darker colored leather (tan, brown and black) do not use any household products, as they will most likely discolor your couch and remove dye. An ink stick will remove ink spots on darker leather.

what's a ink stick?

i am going to try the alcohol tomorow..thank

Dude I would suggest you to send your leather bag to the specialist. You may find one at the lower ground floor of the Ikano Power Centre (beside Ikea). It is next to a news stand.

Just let the expert handle this situation.

sorry there was a typo in my previous post. my bad.

basically ikea and ikano share the same building. the shop that i am referring to is situated at the lower ground floor of ikano, next to a shop selling magazine and newspaper, just opposite one kopitiam (i can't recall the name but i think is uncle lim or something).

this shop is also the authorised repairer for several designer brands, namely Coach. quite a number of Gucci and LV being sent to this shop for professional cleaning and repair as well.

i am not sure if it is the lowest floor, but it is a floor below the ground floor. below the Cold Storage. and no, it is not from the Ikea side. it is at the other wing/side where you can find Popular Bookstore or Starbucks.

gosh, i hope i am not confusing you.

im sorry but i just have to state this misinformation, brands such as Gucci and Louis Vuitton send their goods direct to their repair center which is either in Italy or France, no matter how small the damage/issue is.. i am pretty sure that Gucci and LV themselves do not send their products for repair to the place you are mentioning.. However i am not too sure about Coach..

hi jind86, i believe you have misunderstood me.

what i really meant is there are quite a number of LV and Gucci bags being sent to there but that doesn't mean that this shop is an authorised repairer for Gucci and LV. It could be that customers actually sent in their LV and Gucci by themselves.

As for Coach, yes, this shop is recommended by Coach boutique. In fact this is how I get to know about this shop.
