Yes, 9950 is like Intel`s q6600, but slower,hotter, uses more power and cannot oc as well.

Maxes out at 3.5GHz I think

Q6600 can oc up to 3.8GHz average on WC, Go stepping that is

just double the video ram, so when u play games at really high reso, then only the 1GB oneis a bit faster

Q6600 is extremely ocable, so I`d get it (well I did) and oc to 3Ghz on my first few months before I got my CPS9700. Then it was 3.6Ghz all the way

If u mild oc on stock coolers than got prob.Maximum Ive left the pc n was for 2 days in a row, CPU was idling at 41c @3.6GHz

No, imo. Try playing GTA 4. Q6600 can reach around 3.8-3.9X GHz on WC set up..

If so difficult, why not add ur budget to around RM680 and get an OEM QX6800

Overpriced already. 9800GT with 112sp also less than 500.

512MB version is enough already
