How much GB ram maximum can be supported in PC now?

My plan is to buy a new pc, install windows 7 RTM and use 6gb untill windows 7 RC come out lor. Is this good plan? >.<

What does that OC means? after i overclock the mobo or oc the ram?

Does it mean i can support ram with 2000Mhz? Just plug and play or need to do some tweaking?
