It is probably safe to be uninstalled if your HDDs doesn't run on RAID setup and that command prompt annoys you.

RAID is a setup where you 'combine' a few harddisks to become 'one', it results in faster processing speed

ok guys, very noob question here..
what are the difference in expensive and cheaper motherboards?
i know they dun make the pc go faster or something so why got so many different prices.. 

anyway, my motherboard spoil edi.. it seems that the sensor or whatever thingy spoil edi..
computer cannot turn on so have to change to whole motherboard i think..
currently using gigabyte, dunno which model..
my friend suggest to buy Asus motherboard..

my computer is for home use and a little bit of gaming - surf net, print stuff, store movies, songs and photos, msn, p2p and sims 2..
i prefer the computer to work and response very fast..
i'm also planning to get a new processor in the coming pc fair..
currently using intel pentium d only.. planning to get an intel core 2 duo or higher..

so what kind of motherboard do i need? and what is the price for it roughly..
would appreciate if can suggest which processor for me to get also..

You can always use your 2nd HDD for storage... Why is the HDD annoying you? Just hook it up in your casing and plug in the sata cable and you'll have an additional HDD for sturage or back up.

If it really annoys you, then let the HDD come to me and annoys me la... I dont mind...

Wait for PCFair, since you are just into light gaming, then Intel E7400 is more than enough Resulting from that, you don't need a P45 motherboard, a cheaper version of P43 would be sufficient. It's priced around RM300-RM330 Both of these would only cost RM750 only

Expensive motherboard is obviously for the high end users, those who OC their super fast CPU and all that. Cheap motherboard, on the other hand, not to be mistaken with poor performance. Cheap motherboard is the 'economical' version of those standard motherboard, where only neccessary components and features that normal users would use
If you're having problem, just uninstall it, forget about RAID for now Sometimes PCs are like human, they have on and off
Or if you couldn't RAID with two HDDs, why not add another one and see how it goes
