I got a new n00b question.

what is the differences between "value" ram and others?

for eg:

Kingston Value Ram Triple Kit DRR3
Kingston Hyper-X DDR3 1375 / 1800MHz
Kingston HyperX Triple Kit DDR3
Kingston HyperX Sodimm

How to know which 1 should I choose?

Sorry sifu-s, i asked another n00b question  notworthy.gif
*
Usually those high performance RAMs are only for OC purpose. Value RAM is for normal usage which I think suits you best.

That SATA cable is a twisted cable. It is for a more neater look.

Just to let you know, before you touch any components, remember to ground yourself by touching the non-painted metal part of your casing or wearing an electro-static wrist strap. smile.gif

By the way, the rounded cable is also referred as twisted cable so whether it will damage your HDD or not, I'm not so sure about it. However, there are a lot of PC enthusiast using it so... sweat.gif

Yes, but just make sure that you touch the metal part from time to time. If not, you need to prepare to take out another moneh. tongue.gif

RAM and GC more. CPU, not so much about that as the graphic rendering work all goes to the GC.

HeartRoxas,

It depends on your specs, really. Without having to know what is inside your casing it is hard to know whether 550W of PSU is sufficient. In most cases, it is sufficient for normal users. Some of them may have 500GB of HDD but does not have powerful PC and yet a good 400W of PSU also will do the job.

i reformatted like at least 5 to 6 times within 3 months... which  i dont really do that often...
and none of it is because of virus attacks... usually BSOD that cant boot my computer... or unknown CPU detected... sometimes is software problems but i dont understand why my files always gone crashing... i'm doubting on my hdd...
*
How long you been using your HDD? Maybe you might want to direct yourself to BSOD thread where the people there can help you to diagnose the problem.

Ultra noob question right?

So may I ask,

How much does a casing fan help in cooling your system?
How much does the SIZE of a cooling fan help in cooling your system?
*
Depends on how good is the cable management in the casing. If it's really neat then for sure it would help a lot because the fan is able to dissipate the heat efficiently. When it comes to size, normal ones like 80mm have more airflow but has higher noise level. Whereas the 120mm, has low level noise and the air flow rate is slower than 80mm because it is turning at slower speed.

Comments/critics are welcomed.

I suspect it really comes from your HDD. If it is still under warranty go claim it.

my casing is like below
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

normally, when we insert fan on side or back panel, we have to adjust its direction so tat the fan sucks out hot air but not draw in outside air
if insert fan in front of hdd, means i have to adjust the fan direction so tat it will suck air from front & blow to back??(sorry for bad explanation sweat.gif )
*
How's your cable management inside your casing? Do you place your casing very near to the wall?

I can confirm that for AGP, I'm using 7300GT which is a lower end for 7600GT does need extra power supply.

I dunno the current age of the hard disk, i buy it from forumer here, there is no high pitch, just kind of zeczeczeczec when its reading data and files smile.gif

*
I believe it is hardware issue that cannot be fixed. Usually after 3 years of usage or so, the life of a HDD will deteriorate and usually this is one of the early symptom that you should change your HDD.

I do not think there is a limitation for a PC in terms of storage space. But of course, if you are talking about RAM then that is different story.
