Sportswear (those sweat-wicking polyester ones) are meant for, well, sports. Don't go to the mall looking like you're lost on your way to the gym.
GAP has nice crewneck and v-neck Ts (the plain colour ones). Giordano too, but personally like GAP's better. If you're looking for graphic Ts, well just look around. No specific brand that you should go for; find a design you like and buy it.

Looks like you're into louder, graffiti-ish Ts. Try http://www.6dollarshirts.com/t-shirts/ (okay quality) and http://www.threadless.com/. Not premium brands, but you may like some of the designs. Also, seems like you don't mind spending extra on t-shirts, so try brands like A|X, Levi's, etc. Nice designs (though probably not as loud) and comfortable.

QUOTE(paulfrank @ Dec 7 2010, 11:48 AM) threadless is nice. not so into 6dollarshirts. but do they ship their products to malaysia ? how to get it. i just got my t-shirts from ioocrew.com. the quality is just awesome and the packaging is really special. consider buying its accesories already now. i think i am becoming their fans. AX also there is alot of people wearing already somemore got fake one. Yes, both ship internationally. If you want to save on shipping cost, I recall seeing a thread under the Bulk Orders section for Threadless. Another one would be http://www.designbyhumans.com/. Pretty nice design. But again, not premium. Well, I don't know much about premium brand Ts, so that's all that I can suggest.
