Got this pair of jeans 2 months back.

Okay I know it's not a raw jeans, but nevertheless, it's still a selvedge jeans. (:

on the note of fenoms, i much prefer the older models. imho, they went massively downhill when they started producing multicolours.

anyway; here's a not so old pic of mine:

sold the black disco, and the gp is pending sale. will be getting another gp soon-ish.

Lol. why sell and get another 1 again? I like the red fenom thou, but sold it of cause its too big for me. Btw, do you know where can I get fenom 5 star? The 1 where the stars are on the front left part, not those which are found in ST

that is definitely personal preference. One man meat might be another poison. For me i think that pair of jeans is nice. In fact it is one of the best denims from clot so i have the money i will definitely support it.
haha, why rock a pair of melon jeans wif a fake clot tee?

Well said, really well said. rclxms.gif

My friend wore it cause it was a present for her, so yea... I prefer the silver clot denim. Btw is the melon jeans is also a selvedge jeans. LOL. I was surprised when I got to know it.

Wonderful to see how people got different taste, but I'm not gonna judge anyone. That's just boring mentality & not the right way to see things. Imagine everyone wear the same jeans(& have the same taste), life will be boring!
*
LOL. Well said, but as I said, I dont mind accepting comments from people either bad ones or good ones, so yea. biggrin.gif

until now i still dont know what the function of selvage is. Mind to explain sumtuckieeeee?

and she is a girl? u shud have asked her to rock strawberry. Nvr see people rock strawberry b4.

QUOTE(mofonyx @ Dec 19 2008, 11:02 PM)
As mentioned in the first thread

"Selvage produced currently means that it is produced on a vintage loom and will show more character. These looms are very rare."

Character could refer to fade, honeycombing (the crisscrossing behind the knees), creasing or just how they wear and shrink.
*
There you go.

Yea, she's a girl. She prefers watermelon over strawberry and she's a lil tomboy-ish I would say, so this might explain why she chooses watermelon denim over the strawberry? Btw she just got a pair of purple sundreys fenom. Will ask her to post it up here if she's free later. LOL

Just got a w32 Grim Tim Dry Red Selvage. The waist is tight for me but the thigh area is somehow a lil bit loose for me. Tried thin finn but the waist is too high for my liking and w32 for a thin finn looks ugly on me cause the thigh part is too tight. Should I get a w31 for my next purchase of Grim Tim?

Sigh... if you even bothered reading the thread, we already came to the conclusion countless times. Grim Tim is roomier in the thigh. Thin Finn is not so. Geddit?

Second well known fact - wear your nudies 2 sizes down. Or the bare minimum of 1 size down. It is supposed to be tight. It WILL stretch out. Want to trust me or not!

But anyhow, I can't decide for you. We just give you the info. You gotta decide for yourself.

My advise is : If you wanna change to w31 for GT, then return your new w32 GT and exchange lah. Why wanna have 2 pairs of different sizes.

His is TFDOEE I think. Just like mine.

Yea atta, it doesn't fade at all lmao. Blame the organic cotton. You should rotate it with another. I highly doubt our TFDOEEs will fade. Still, they look too damn good.

It really is my wardrobe staple now. I'm in it like half the time.
*
I know Grim Tim is roomier in the thigh and Thin Finn is not. Please read the bolded part of my previous post. I'm asking whether I should get a w31 on my next purchase because it's alil roomy for the thigh area for me although the waist is already tight. What's with the frustration? Sigh.

I dont think grimm tim suit u lar even u size down to 1. My experience with nudies is u need to wear a bit tight at 1st. My 1st nudie i barely can wear it. But as it stretch, it'll become a bit loose and comfortable to wear and even sleep lol!
I think the measurement on grim tim's thigh is more or less the same on the 32w and 31w. Its a different story if u size down to 30w lol.
*
What model do you recommend then? I dont like thin finn cause the waist is too high. Any other models besides Grim Tim?

tube kelly is quite nice if u can get it to fit u lol.. its got very slim thigh... but my best bet would be slim jim
but noted slim jim's leg is a tad bigger than grim tims
*
I dont like slim jim. It's leg opening is big. would prefer something slim/skinny. tube kelly? is it similar to thin finn but with lower waist? if it is, i dont mind trying.
