measure the waist of the jeans that you usually used, what i mean is the jeans that fit you well..

yeah dude, 4 cm below belly button. comes up to 36 inches damn my tummys pretty big right.

ok heres the deal. i got a pair of my levis size 32/32. it fits great on my thigs legs and everything. when i wear it just below my stomach can button all the way to top but when i sag, i cant button the top button. i think i gained some weight.

if i get a size 33 for levis. i can button up to the top. so my official levis size is size 33.

i read its recommended to size down especially if i take slim jims.

so would size 32 be good for nudies? i sag my jeans btw so im hoping it will stretch after some wear.

no worries...thing about raw denim that it will surely stretch...a size 30 wearer can fit a size 26 APC bro.. =)plus if ur going for grim tim dry stretch it has the ability to stretch more...since the name says it all =) but i reckon u get a thin finn dry stretch

@capnjazz: if your waist measures about 36" then i think you're about a w34 in levis 501/505s. the inseams are about 36.5" in those two particular cuts.

to break it down a little more; the difference between all the levis model is simply in the cut. 501s and 505s are essentially the same thing - straight cut. the only difference is that 501s have button-fly and 505s have zip-fly.

having said that, other lines (512, 511, etc) tend to be smaller (and i am also unsure of what the different numbers mean; best to ask a salesperson).

and for brands like nudie/apc etc, i'm pretty sure they fit true to size (i.e. w34 = 34" waist).
