looking at the pictures above, which front grill is better, the original 1 or the modulo 1? i am thinking to add duck tail and also change the rim and tyre since i travel from selangor to pahang a lot. waaah...i am wondering how much i will spent for this car? just need to make the care sexier. ekekeke...

QUOTE(elru @ Dec 17 2008, 12:24 AM) mike ur evil! hahahaha. poisoned and drooling on my monitor again OMG!. i can't tahan la looking at the pictures above...i ordered black color and so many pictures on black model. the headlamps looks like honda civic european spec and better than malaysian's civic headlamps. i was thinking to replace the front grille with modulo kit, but i can't deny, the new front grille is the trademark of the new city. unique identity though. fuhhh! tough decision to be made.for me i would prefer the original prime optimus grille as its unique and its the new trademark/signature/face wutever u call it for the new city. arent you guys proud of it? the modulo also good looking, looks prestige too. QUOTE(elru @ Dec 17 2008, 01:27 AM) lol put the length aside, me still savoring the beautifulness of 2 black....beauties. mugen version yah man, to be honest, its kinda a lil too steep to be priced like that at the time like these. haha ya, tough decision eh? for me i'll settle for the original first, then wait a little longer for mugen version hehe. i went to honda showroom in acmar bandar baru klang this afternoon. so many people. once i entered the entrance gate, i saw new honda city black color complete with modulo accessories (body kit + rim). 1st impression, i just said "Wow!". since this is my first car, the new honda city is really worth. the interior design is ok (for me) as long as i get the i-vtec. my SA called me and we met in the evening to settle several things. 1 good thing i heard from her is loan interest which below 3%. her boss told me, my car expected to be delivered in the early march.

QUOTE(anson81 @ Dec 25 2008, 03:07 PM) whats your current rims cost and aging? do you mean the city new rims? or your current car rims? hehehe. i will change to new rim + tyres for my new city once i receive the car.hows ur tyre condition?? still got flower? if got... maybe sell your tyre cheap cheap to your fren for let say RM100 - 200, then only trade in to them lo... Added on December 25, 2008, 3:32 pm QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 25 2008, 03:30 PM) How heavy are those Lenso Samurai rims? should be around 5-6kg +-. 17" around 7.8kg if i not mistaken. the rims alone cost me rm1450. i read in Sport RIM talk, most of them talked about lenso samurai.I wouldn't mind a bit more for lighter rims (ie. RM2k just for 16" rims) This post has been edited by wackyflik: Dec 25 2008, 03:37 PM |

QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 25 2008, 03:38 PM) Wow.. so fast you wanna change ur 16" original rims ar. Gonna trade in and get the new ones? or sell to other ppl? yup, i travel from selangor to pahang a lot. need lighter rim and bigger tyres. besides, new city rims, not my taste lor. i trade in to get the lenso. of course lenso samurai has different with new city rim.If compared the ori rims to the lenso ones.. big diff? Tot quite sayang laa to change so fast the 16" original rims unless I can get a good deal with some light weight ones.. So I can complement with 205/55 tyres.. QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 25 2008, 03:48 PM) Yea.. those rims are sick. Will look totally wicked on the car. yes. i live in klang, but work in pahang. i went to h2o, in jalan kapar I guess for me I'll stick to the original 16" till I save enough for light weight Jap rims. From your avatar, you live in Klang? Where do you source your tyres? I usually go to the one along Jalan Kapar (if I'm not mistaken) Not sure whether that's the best place to buy. Was recommended that place though.. Added on December 25, 2008, 3:53 pm QUOTE(Mr Cola @ Dec 25 2008, 03:49 PM) no mugen, i asked oz racing, advan rg, the guy said they dont have those rims. except i saw 1 oz racing for bmw.Added on December 25, 2008, 3:56 pm QUOTE(anson81 @ Dec 25 2008, 03:50 PM) that 1 i dont know. but my friend uses lenso samurai sc02 on his myvi, travel from selangor to pahang, the fuel consumption is ok. i think the lenso in quite light. coz i can lift up the rim easily with 1 hand. but the fuel consumption maybe a little high after this since i will use 205-50 tyres. i used to travel to pahang using 185-55 tyre, and i didn't like it. especially when driving at karak highway. This post has been edited by wackyflik: Dec 25 2008, 03:58 PM |

QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 25 2008, 03:58 PM) Ah ic ic. That should be the same shop that I go too..hehe! ya lor. the fuel price is going down again this 1 jan 09 to rm1.70. i dont care much about the FC as long as it is okay with me. but my safety while on the road is my priority concern.Maybe after getting the car, will change to 205/55. FC suffer a bit, nvr mnd la.. as long as fuel prices RM1.80/l or below |

thanks sysh! sorry Travies, i went to sleep early last nite. dreaming about my new rim on my new city. i hope u understand about the size of the tyre. i just need a broader tyre for the car. i used to travel with my current city with 185/55 tyre. everytime i take the corner with high speed (100-110 kmh), the car seems like waving. then i changed to dunlop (195/55), it is better right now. maybe it affect a lil bit on FC. but with current fuel price, it costed me around rm20 - rm25 for 1 way trip, from klang to jengka and vice versa. usually i drive about 110kmh (speed limit in LPT) and sometimes 120-130kmh.

QUOTE(elru @ Dec 28 2008, 04:03 PM) was checking the old city and the new city photos at sgcarmart.com. old city has auto/brake lock while new city doesnt. the interior is so much better for the old city in terms of quality. new city interior looks nice as long dont go feel/knock on them lol. agreed! i am using my dad's 4th gen city (2006 model). the interior is better than the new city. but, like my uncle said, honda still has good quality overall. |
