but as things to generalised, i think everyone would agree that 93.5K for a 1.5 with even the best technology also is over priced. i am not against those high tech accesories or anything, but give most people to choose a choice of paddle shifter+modulo kits+halogen headlight and reduction of 8-9K price, i am sure they are all going for the reduction of price.

i can imagine the lower specced ones will like laku more than the top of the range 93.5K. people can do away with less accesorries in return with lower price.

but, if lets say another new car to be introduced which well positioned head to head with the new city, but the other new car is priced at 80K. then people will think again. the new city or that 80K car? that 6-8K different for sure will got people to think again.

dont talk about fan boys, if got wheelcart with Honda on it also they will defend to hilt.

in january, a sexy pug is coming out with expected price tag of 80K or so. i am in the market for a new car, in fact my first car and of course price will play a big factor in my decision. but pug n honda got their highs and lows.

but pricing definitely will be a huge factor

lot of people goin for the the E spec. why is that? from what SA gave me, after 10% dp, and at 2.85% over 108 months, the different is only 48RM between the two...

Kah Motor penang also like that, but they bit cleverer - that tinting will be done by their subsidiary.. company named Kah..something. Kah Tintings if i am not wrong. so the money circle around them oso. when ask, they say that company got alliance with VCool or AirCool. something like that. i didnt pay much attention because already made booking at Alor Star

mind telling me which dealer u asked? in my case, i booked the top specced car with Lee Motors Alor Star. the lower spec he told me, within 3 months. plus minus. usually its plus

they got this transparent system where customers can see for themselves how the queue is about. Lee Motors put one like big monitor at its receptionist area which gives information like the number of people booking and the expected delivery date. something like that. i dont know whether such system work or not, but i'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

maybe they want to attract people booking and stuffs like that, that they told the waiting list is short. but lets face it, this LYN forum alone, there is no less than 50 people already booked, right? unless they speed up the production line, i dont think it is realistic to get the car within 3 months. especially the top of the range one.

Nevermind since u told that one in KL and I am here in Penang. Booked at Lee Motors AS cause closer to my old man's house. Hopefully come July, we can go walk there and drive home to suprise the neighbours!

number plates i dont think give any significant factor to the waiting period. i mean, that one u can do on ur own while waiting for the car to arrive, is it? if u want any alphabet+number, simply go to JPJ to oversee the procedures. for 'hot' numbers/ alphabets, u must go tender-style and play bidding game. if no one going for the same numbers/alphabets, it will only cost u like 200RM+. if got people bidding also, u can always try kautim outside looo..
