I went to have a look and I scribled down some notes on what I like and didn't like:

Like: Exterior looks, boot space, USB capable head unit, paddle shifters
Didn't like: Plastics, air-cond knobs, dashboard shape near driver door, orange lights, door trim.

hmmm... can conclude as:
Previous gen Honda City is using Quality as main weapon while
Current gen new Honda City is using Design as main weapon ? Agree? smile.gif

Partially agree. I think the main selling point for this car would be it's look and the fact that the 'entry' level model comes in dark interior. No other manufacturer in the segment offers this atm.

The power increae IMO is a little misleading. Not only is the new model's power to weight lower but don't forget that the legacy slushbox auto will still suck more power compared to a CVT - the 5 speed's just makes the delivery smoother and more efficient that an 4 speeder. I also note that the 10hp power increase is only in the higher RPM range hence wouldn't be used most of the time.

Quality materials have definatly suffered in this new model but to be honest, that's to be expected in these difficult times. Remember that manufactures would always try to make the most moolah out of their models and this city would be no different.

Oh ya. Regarding clamming RM625 for renewal of road tax, I've consulted my SA. He claim if we RENEW our road tax, we're applicable to get that claim but it's not applicable for NEW cars. Not sure is it same with what your SA told you. Really confusing.  rclxub.gif

This is totally NOT true. As long as your car is registered before the benefit ends, then you can get the RM 625 for your new car's road tax.
