yeaps... it's to show how heavy is your fuel consumption based on your driving style. i've tried it out.. if i flor the pedal, basically the indicator will b in between 0-20.. and if u drive, take off slowly.. then it'll b higher.. better fuel efficiency..

SA called me.. said someone cancelled an ASM E-Spec. Asked me whether I want to take it or not. I can get my car sometime next week. Hmm, should I take it? It's one of my choices, but not my #1. Scared can't get my RM625 rebate if I don't take it though. From the City I saw on the roads of Bangkok, ASM doesn't look that bad. What do you all think?

it's a 1 time thing.. if u get a color that u dun like it tat much... then no gud lor.. respray will cost u more than tat and quality may not b tat gud.. it's btr to wait for the color tat u want..

i tried also... when i pedal.... the indicator is between 0 - 20, but when slow down... is 20 - 40, does that mean if we slow down... the fuel consumption will be higher? sorry... not too understand till now
*
i think the number is the kilometer tat we can get per liter of fuel... so if it stops at 20... mean tat we can get like 20km per liter.. tat's wat the SA told me..
but i think the number may not be accurate.... just a guide only.. just rmbr to be light footed in order to get btr fuel consumption...

If I don't take ASM, perhaps 3 - 4 months.
Actually I don't mind ASM, just that the photo up there doesn't look too outstanding. The grille thing is okay 'cos of the contrast. smile.gif

Was thinking of getting it now 'cos when I complete the sale of my old car (hopefully by CNY), I will not have a car to drive to work..

Oh well..got until tomorrow to decide

and if u take u can b one of the 1st few to drive the new city and be admired by other ppl.. and just in case u r chinese celebrating coming cny... ur car can b the test drive car of the relatives or frens tat u'll be seeing.. hehe..

everybody!!!! I've gotten my baby BBM, E spec today!!!!! It's such a sweet ride. not adding the body kit cos the car looks great itself already. Bold Biege Metallic looks tremendous! Such an eye catcher!!

Took my GF, my mom and grandma out today in my new baby and the car is just fine. Don't feel under power at all although the mileage was just 8km!! I'm really loving my baby!!!

Thanks, bro. Much appreciated too. Considering getting a specific number plate for my car smile.gif

Btw.. was wondering, on the JPJ website.. it says it's WSE XXXX.. but I noticed that there are cars with WSF XXXX.
Question is.. if we don't take a running number, what about alphabet? How far ahead (or behind) can we go? For eg. if I want WSG XXXX but it's WSE XXXX. Is it possible? (i.e. belakang mari way..hehe!)
*
If i'm not mistaken.. those backdated number are normally depend on luck.. the availability is depend on whether the person who has bought the number previously and decided to gif up the number(not registering it to any car, and probably is after 3 month or if appplied for extension b4 can b 6 month) and JPJ will release it for other ppl to take up the number. i've seen it pasted on JPJ's notice board describing past number for sale.

and for those that can use the upcoming alphabet even the current running number is not there yet, it can be due to they submit a tender for the number (tender for number in KL are normally two alphabet ahead of the current running number) and if JPJ released the result of the tender early while the current alphabet in the running number haven reach yet.. the owner can just pay for the number and start using it on their new car...

and another scenario of ppl using old number plate can be.. they do a number plate transfer from their old car to the newly bought vehicle.. so new car will have the new number plate and the old car will be using the new number plate. smile.gif

It's not possible for them to test every engine before installing. Think about it, they install a few hundred cars per day. If they were to test single one, how long do you think it would take before the customers get their car?

Open up your Honda car manual and there should be a line that tells you to let your car run in for the first 1000 or 3000km. This will allow the engine to properly set in and ensure maximum fuel economy and performance.

Judging by the number of hot footers and first time car owners, it's a good idea to remind them about this.

agree with u. but many dun agree with the running in process.. they would say things like cars power is suppose to b tested wen it's new and so on.
