QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 24 2008, 02:03 AM) Backdated plates? It's possible, if you've belakang jalan. I booked mine through my dad's friend (who has insider connection with JPJ number plate tendering department).Wow. I didn't know it was possible. How far back can you go anyway? What are the charges anyway? Maybe I'm not too fussed on the numbers.. but for alphabets, that's something I'm curious about. When I booked my JKW that time, the plate has already till JLD. The charges are still the same. No bribery. Just for example, JJJ plates aren't finish yet, but they already opened tender for JJL straight away. You can still book JJJ plate if you want, but expensive. That's why they opened JJL and JJM. |

QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 24 2008, 02:20 AM) Oic. Wow, a lot of "belakang mari" job in our country eh..haha! Will definitely consider that. Ya, belakang mari, but I didn't bribe. So it's counted okie, right? I'd like WTF though, but it probably would sound obscene and I would have to stick to it for a few years..haha! Now to decide on whether to take a Selangor plate (BXX) or WP plate (WXX) As far as I know, get W plate because W plate value is better. QUOTE(khairul4993 @ Dec 24 2008, 07:23 AM) Haha, not bad. Don't go for original loh.Aftermarket sure won't exceed RM1700 including paint. QUOTE(931002 @ Dec 24 2008, 07:32 PM) I you must book the new accord. as you can see accord has 156ps and 189 nm of torque. while camry only has 148ps and 190 nm of torque. besides, accord has 5 speed auto while camry still wearing 4 speed auto which is same as proton perdana. accord also equipped with shift hold control and it is very useful to overtake the car in front of you. accord uses double wishbone suspensions front and rear which is same as merc and ferrari which deliver more grips to the tires. on the other hand camry only wear mac pherson suspension which is same as the OLD PROTON WIRA! the icing on the cake, honda accord is far more bigger than camry and its has less ground clearance than camry which helps to provide more grips to take tight corners at high speed. Very well said. |

Some people don't book their cars that early. They just wait for comments from owners.
Some don't walk into showroom to test-drive. They depend fully on the car that they see on the road. |

QUOTE(ccdin1 @ Dec 27 2008, 10:29 AM) Earlier I was juggling colors between PMM and Blue. So I went to the showroom at Jln 222 as advised and had a good long look at both cars. PMM is not a boring colour. The boring colour is what you see in the showroom. Try to bake under the sun and view it again. It'll be another colour. Then at night, try to see it again. What I can say is it's a multiple tones. Here is my verdict.... Blue color gives the front section of the car stood out from the rest. The contrast of front grey section (with honda logo) vs blue body is very outstanding, plus drooling effect, hehe. PMM gives me a boring feeling on the front section (not much contrast in color) but when I walked to the back and side of the car...fuiyoh!...elegant and sexy. Black..you know.. This is gonna be a tough decision. QUOTE(elru @ Dec 27 2008, 10:32 AM) nope...i dont have any particular number i like haha. hmm how bout WXX 7711 Wah steady, welcome to the family. LOL |

QUOTE(wackyflik @ Dec 27 2008, 11:17 AM) PMM is my 2nd choice, but i prefer black. even it is hard to take care of LOLmy plate number is similar with my family plate number 3X3X. i booked my plate number last friday which will be BKF 3X3X. PMM for me is okie, as long as you don't use your finger to wipe. If want to clean, then clean the whole car. Hehe... QUOTE(Bliz @ Dec 27 2008, 11:27 AM) |

QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 27 2008, 12:28 PM) Nobody can tell anyway. I support you. Hehe... Exactly same like my idea.Just make sure you don't get those capalang type which is super cheap. You'll regret later And also to make it more real, can always paste the Mugen or Modulo logo. Nobody will know "Imitation is the best form of flattery" I'll only opt for original if: 1. There's no kit available in aftermarket. 2. Quality is bad. |

QUOTE(invisible_guy22 @ Dec 27 2008, 06:53 PM) PMM is a multiple tones??? At day you'll see the colour is like Polished Metal Metallic and a bit like sparkle grey.But... Is PMM easy to maintain?? Coz i'll only be washing my car once a week. Lol!!~ At night, you'll see the colour is like Nighthawk Black. Multiple tones, isn't it? PMM is easier to maintain than black. As long as you don't rub your body with your finger, nobody can see the dust on the car. QUOTE(yaliqiu @ Dec 27 2008, 08:42 PM) Polished Metal Metallic will not let you down.Maybe at the first glance, you'll find it's a boring colour and will regret. But after 2nd glance, you'll start to love it. This is what happened to me. This post has been edited by andyjyneo: Dec 27 2008, 09:07 PM |

QUOTE(yaliqiu @ Dec 27 2008, 09:29 PM) actually i prefer PMM which easier maintain... my current car is black and look terrible dirty after rain... Yes, PMM is easier to maintain than Black, seriously.PMM look nice on accord.. i wonder how it look on city.. I haven't wash my car for about 2 weeks because of frequent travel, and no problem, don't feel dirty at all. The most important thing is birds don't drop their sh*ts on dark colour cars. This is what I like, unlike my light blue Accord. Damn... QUOTE(hackinz @ Dec 27 2008, 10:23 PM) I'm wondering PMM color will look like when apply to City. I've book the car & getting it by mid Jan before CNY so my agent promised me. Really looking forward to the day I drive it home. It'll simply look elegant. Don't worry. You won't regret.QUOTE(elru @ Dec 27 2008, 11:50 PM) mmm i like the black city very much although kinda fed up with black color car (partly becos of the heat too). because my previous car everytime after washing it, sure some a$$ will come 'draw' some artistic curly lines with their key. so for my new black city, after polish + wax, most probably gonna leave it quite some time until very very dirty haha. my opinion, PMM is quite easy to maintain because its grey can camouflage the dust a bit, unless if put side by side with a clean PMM la Looks like we've another Polished Metal Metallic fan here. Hehe... |

Please, no matter what kind of tint you guys choose, just don't include V-Kool in your consideration list.

Conclusion, V-Kool sucks.
Maybe you guys can try EcoTint. Our forummer - AmuroRay is selling it. EcoTint Security Tint is a good bargain. Price is reasonable and longer warranty period than V-Kool. |
