Hmm.. I choose the number 9820... All the cars in my home is 9820 except Carrera S took 911. So the new city is WSE 9820.
I see. So if that's the case, that'll cost you RM210 or more?

Someone in the thread says that it's leather wrapped for the E-Spec. Though it 'looked' like plastic, but it's actually leather.
Guess you've got to feel it.. try the 'scratch' test. If it's smooth, it's plastic.. if it's a bit rough.. it's leather

4mil is around 0.1mm, 6mil is around 0.15mm, should be refer to the thickness of film

SA is offering me discount for this Secure-Lite, and told me normal solar tint is 2 mil, whereas this 4 mil is security tint and hard to break. I didn't know there are thicker ones out there till I read the posts here.

Finally able to finish all the pages that I've missed sweat.gif

About the leather wrapped, I forgot to ask my SA but I did scratch it and the result are exactly the same hmm.gif

Anyway I've just booked my CITY E Spec, PMM this afternoon icon_rolleyes.gif Everything went well except for the number plate which I somehow doesn't like WS* as I was really looking forward for WT* but my SA told me I'll probably need to wait until year end or next year and when I think about it again, I've finally agree to go with WS* but will be waiting for WSM as I really don't like the rest of the alphabet too (I'm being very fussy about the letters) still thinking about the suitable number to match up.

Anyway maybe what chooikw claim might be true with the condition that he is a VVIP customer as I actually get the same offer, around March or early April to get the car if I'm not fussy about the number plate. What I meant by VVIP is definitely about connection nothing about money. I am told not to mention about it therefore I would just stop here but please understand that it is totally legal and the main reason behind is the power of title, definitely not a decision made by any SAs.

Recommended LLumar Diamond 6 series with 6 mil thickness as what I've installed. If you want better security i.e. bomb attack, go for 8mil or 9mil but this is way to thick for your car windows  doh.gif  It should be around RM2K for our car... front windscreen & back screen will used LLumar AIR65 type as the 6mil (security film) is not suitable to use on it. Ask your installer, they wll explain to you. smile.gif

Bomb attack?!?1 hahaha, that's a bit extreme unless you are gonna drive around in Bombay!

We might be thinking the thicker the better for security reason. What if when come to emergency and you are trapped in the car, the fireman may have difficulty in breaking the windows!! argh!

This is the reason why windscreen and rear windscreen cant be fitted with security film. Only normal film. So in case emergency, last but not least firemen still can try breaking the windscreen... brows.gif

I ordered at Perringgit Motor, at old klang road there. The date was clearly stated at customer order form.

If my car arrive in april i will definately complain to HM hahahaha biggrin.gif But hope the mid of march is true la, really can't wait to drive my baby rclxm9.gif Btw, I also got free tinting for Llumar, but is the cheapest 1 la smile.gif

Oh ya....the SA also told me that got some ppl cancelled their booking, so maybe the queue is shorter now? And if i take Blue colour or S spec immediately got stock hahahaha.... But i'm willing to wait for Black E rolleyes.gif

My mom's 2006 city also booked from same branch, i'm happy with their customer service rclxms.gif
