I guess no car in this world will 100% satisfy a customer. If it doesn't meet ur expectation, you're not obligated to buy it. I've got to affirm that usually 1st batches do have a 'lil niggle here and there, but I guess there's always a first for everything. If you don't mind waiting for all the niggles to be ironed out..wait perhaps 6 months down the road when HM receives customer feedback etc. On the topic of Jazz (CBU) and City (CKD), well.. the prices says just says it. For a car without much of a boot costing in the excess of RM10k - RM15k over the latter, it'd better be of good quality.

I'm going to the showroom a lil later. Maybe after lunch. Will let you know on the queries asked just now.

P/s: The autolock issue isn't a big one. Though it is an added safety feature as I've got to admit that I'm one of the many out there who always forget to lock my car when I get in. Wouldn't it be a convenient to have the car lock itself once you start driving?

Absolutely agree to this statement! thumbup.gif

haha like what i felt in the test drive la....
but all people here sure will say nothing is perfect to make their eager of having it more smooth......
but i still love the looks....
*
I believe different ppl have different perspective on the needs and wants.
Some ppl will prefer CVT for smooth transmission..
Whereelse some old school would love the conventional shifting thats able to provide more oompph! esp when you are using the paddle shift.

Me for one, I love the ommpph! Although no paddle shift, sometimes i purposely pull the auto lever to 1-2-D3-D! hahhahah icon_idea.gif

Its addictive to hear the vtec ROAR!

I think it's already in expectation since it upgrade from CVT to 5 speed lar..  Can't complain too much though....
But Travis, is civic having the transmission change feel too?

I am using Raytech Amor, although not as well known as VKool nor Ecotint, it serve me well am very happy with it.
Furthermore, its ceramic based, no issue at all with my smart tag and GPS... icon_rolleyes.gif

Chillz guys! its new year! cheers.gif

Lets drop all these comparison thingy. Makes no where..

Its all about what you like and what you dont like. If you like the New City, just go ahead and buy it with your own money. If you dont, keep your money for some other makes that you like more..

as simple as this..

For the cons, even my V-Kool is facing the same problem. To counter this problem, easy... Just wind down your window and hold your Smart Tag. That'll solve everything.
*
That will defeat purpose of getting a smart tag right?
Get a Touch n Go will do lo.. tongue.gif

Anyways, general rules, just look for tint that are ceramic based. Most of it OK.
VKool is metal based, thats why.
Mine using Raytech so far no problem at all using Smart tag and Garmin. icon_idea.gif

My Garmin somemore can put near gearbox area. Still get sufficient signal.. icon_rolleyes.gif

True also. A little regret now should have got Ecotint instead but no choice, have to really slow down at Smart Tag lane.  smile.gif

Agreed. If they dare to give longer warranty period i.e. 10 years over the normal 5 years then the quality of the film is quite promising.

I am using Raytech 4mil with 7yrs warranty. So far so good am happy with its heat rejection. Price around 2K, 6 mil around 2.5K if not mistaken.
