Ermm...... this is forum.... to be fair... it's a place for us to share and exchange our info.... and again... dun be bias..... i believe.... many here had "bang" u back on ur points above. i had test drive recently, something i can be sure that i dun agree with ur point #4. i dun feel the annoyingly engine sound when i was driving even it had reached 80km/h
Just to let you know, i am one of the booked owner as well, but i am agree to the point #4, this is what i experience when my 2nd test drive. can hear the engine sound when accelerate. about the point of the closing door thing.... not really sure la... but i only agree to engine sound, interior too plastic, the gap is not neat. others. okla.

Black = Darth Vader Blue = Optimus Prime Gold = Bumble Bee ? PMM = Megatron/ Ironhide? Silver = can't think of any at the moment... silver= silver surfer
SILVER SURFER?? i thought that was from Fantastic Four? i think there are talking about transformer series now. Erm... if Silver... maybe like one of the member said la.... JAZZ, is one of the name. you all can google it "transformer jazz" |

QUOTE(dstyx @ Dec 30 2008, 02:08 PM) I see many of you getting the E spec. Does the difference between S and E really worth that price? I'm still considering. maybe you think like that.... since you are going to take loan, RM5k loan is about RM140 per year x 7 year, means about paying extra RM70per month. and you can have all those E spec thing extra. by the way, you can save the RM70 by not having those.... |

QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 30 2008, 08:50 PM) How much did you spend on your Lenso Samurai + Tyres? (how much did you get for ur trade in?) Well..... i am going to do the exterior first, which is security tinted, E spec shouldn't have much to do with the bodykit yet... so will wait for the body kits and install it, Rims wish to change to 17" samurai,Well, I haven't worked it out completely 'cos I still need to source it...but roughly: 1. K&N (4") = RM250.00 2. CAI (Pipercross) = RM300 or Air Ram RM200 3. Heat shield = RM100 - 200 (Not sure, want to source together with my K&N) 4. Iridium (NGK IX) = RM 150 5. Front strut and lower arm bar (Ultra Racing) = RM200+ That's the approximate price I have seen around, my budget's around RM1k - 1.2k. Will try to shop around and see which one will not void my warranty. BTW sysh, wats the thing you just mention?? can briefly explain wat it is for? |

QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 31 2008, 02:21 AM) 1. K&N Air Filter - Performance air filter; promotes better air flow (i.e. more efficient and effective than nomal paper filters. Hence resulting in more oxygen entering the engine so that fuel burns more efficiently. Also last longer, no need to change so often. Looks cool in the engine bay too. Conclusion: Increase horsepower and better fuel economy Wow.... seems so attractive and power la.... I am going to follow as well 2. Cold Air Intake (CAI) - Basically a device to bring in lower temp. air into the car's engine (basically funneling cold air to the air filter). Works the same as for #1, to increase horsepower through better efficiency. Theory is cooler air has higher density (greater mass per unit volume), more oxygen.. better combustion. 3. Heatshield - To attach to the air filter to keep out hot temperature around the engine bay area. Basically keeping the air as cool around the air filter area. 4. Iridium spark plugs - Last longer (no need to change so often). Improved ignition or combustion as the Iridium tip diameter is smaller than that of a standard plug hence reducing the likelihood of 'spark jump'. Hence supporse to increase power. IMHO, very marginal as new engines nowadays are very efficient. Want to buy 'cos it can last for 2 yrs without changing. The ones I'm using in my car 3 yrs already and still running well 5. Strut bar and lower arm bar - Better stability when cornering, in theory. For me, cool effect. When ppl open my engine bay. got that piece of metal from Ultra Racing..haha! I'm a minimalist in terms to exterior mods.. prefer to keep it in the engine bay. QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 31 2008, 10:12 AM) Well.. it's harder to source all 3 at once, maybe at Speedworks. hi sysh, sorry for asking some noob question, really beginner in this thing, I wanna get the K&N Typhoon Kit K&N CAI - Typhoon Kit this one is for the Fit 1.5 >> K&N Typhoon Kit for Honda Fit There's another CAI which draws cold air from outside, but might need to drill a hole into the front bumper to mount the tubing. But I don't think I'll do that, too sayang to spoil my bumper. Actually it shouldn't void the warranty. Basically HM needs to prove that ur modification was the cause of the car being damaged, if they cannot prove it..then we're ok. Say like if the suspension kong due to got defect, they cannot fault you 'cos you have a bolt on aftermarket air filter kit. So far, I haven't seen a full kit for the City. But since it's using the L15A engine from the Jazz, think should be able to fit. Performance will be a little only perhaps 5bhp, but the sound will be more garang cos can hear the air sucking into the intake..hehe Added on December 31, 2008, 10:13 am A bit only la. More to looks oso la. People pop up your hood, waah.. got K&N and strut bars..hehe! Cool factor go up by 25% Added on December 31, 2008, 10:16 am Holy Crap. That's downright fugly. I'd never do that to my car. juz wanna ask, when install this thing.... any effect to the fuel consumption?? or the sound will be very noisy until your neighbour #$%^& you. |
