just received repaired fossil for my customer. the problem was the movement stopped 1 or 2 times each day.out of 20 watches that I've sold, only this one got problem. the repair cost was RM150. I think that's quite expensive for fossil watch

Which Link model?

user posted image

I got special offer for quartz Link at RM4500. It's new, but they are phasing out the model due to low demand for quartz series at this price level. I'd love the sophistication of an automatic tag, but I think at this price, I can happily make the compromise. Would love to feel how tag's signature bracelet feel on everyday use.

Here's the product link

Guys,I want to ask 1 question

How do we determine whether a tag heuer watch is original or fake?
*
Watchuseek has a specified thread for people asking about their tag's authenticity.

I think it's a good price. Bought online?

I've been using my Link Day/Date for 10 months and i can say that the bracelet is very comfortable for daily use even if you are hairy.  tongue.gif

Branded goods comes with a price, people buy something because we need to get utility (satisfaction/want/ets ...)
Two shoes may be exactly the same but the branded one could cost a lot more than the other on, which is not inferior in any way except for the brand. In this case we are buying the brand, some people feel good when they wear branded stuff and that's their problem. Some people feel good when they get a quality product, some when they get cheap bargain. This is a very independent case, whether he is a sucker or not, that's his problem. NOT yours. So please stop calling people sucker..
*
I agree, some people is so ignorant to dismiss the value of branding. Let say that Tag spent 10mil ringgit to advertise their brand as high class, hard to get, expensive and glamor people wear. and the campaign is successful that 80% population know that Tag is such. Then, you have to choose between Tag's and let's say another brand, Chowkit Brand, which has the same quality, design and features. Would you spend another 30%(randomly chosen) to get the recognition of Tag rather than you-only-know Chowkit brand?

Value system is very complex and not just for obvious parameters. If one willing to pay more for the brand, it's still a value to him. Construction quality is a value, warranty is a value, watch history is a value and so is the brand. heck, even the price one is paying is a value ( i.e. "I bought this watch for 20K" vs "I bought this watch for 50 ringgit).

So the advice is, don't impose our own value system on others. We might care about construction, other people might care less. just respect each other's opinion.

of course everything is about sales and marketing. you won't be wearing nice t shirt and jeans if it isn't for marketing. In fact, one purpose of marketing is to let others think that the product is a necessity for them.

On what to spend is up to personal choice. You can spend 50k for a car, or 50k on a bike, or 50k for watch. Why don't you label those who buy 50k car as the one who 'plonk down so much money' to get from point A to B with increase of their probability of untimely death by 5%?

I really like Ball's watches, especially the new stormchaser. However I have skinny arm so it does look weird on me. I've seen stormchaser on in person, gotta love seeing it on my bed table at night someday.

dial is the face of a watch that contains the numeric. smaller dials are called subdials, that usually shows information such as chronograph, 24 hours, alarm, or even calendars. Single dial refers to watch that doesn't have any subdial.

user posted image
For example. this watch has 3 subdials that shows, Day, Seconds and 24 hours.
