I can't choose the right one to fit. (the day-date is extra rm2k+ just for the day indicator)
That day i saw Omega watches De Ville Hour Vision never know is so exp also

Btw, what leather watches can i look for (i'm open for suggestion )

True, wear watches that u like not for future resale value. (although there's certain % of guarantee reliable product value eg. brand)

I choose the watch by:

1) Design (fall in love for Monaco V4 )
2) Brand
3) Price
4) Resale value (optional)

Btw how often does tag need to send for servicing/calibration? and approx how much it cost?

Wow both look great! i like the dial switch (I dono what is it called) for Longines
But i love the name Maurice Lacroix craft on the watch is so elegant with black finishing

Just got back from Bookshop browsing watch magazine March 2010 and i saw this Omega where patryn33 posted. I was shock u guys really into watches. If im not mistaken the saw was stated at 12k (from mag)

By reading your opinion on Tag DD. Yes for DD i more exp compare to D with extra 2k+ and slightly bigger at 43mm vs 41mm on D.
Im not a tall guy but slightly bulk therefore with 43mm on my wrist looks kind of obvious "big".

In other hand, Date version at 41mm suits me well. Just "feel" something missing from it (Phycho on extra day?) and the strip is slightly different from D VS DD (DD comes with better pattern n lining).

And i kept telling myself if u can afford a 8k+ watch y cant u "try" top up abit more for better design Guess human nature~

So, r u happy with your DD? Since there's so many positive reviews on other brand? Or what about the leather strap is it comfortable when wearing with minor sweat?

If im not mistaken somewhere around either March/April there's a roadshow for Tag at KLCC up to 23% on yr 2009. Hope they are practicing this event yearly

so any further discount for Tag? i have esquire only 18% or some control price tag without discount (recently from the manufacturer)

i went to 1U last week nego with them...end up only 18% n some Tag models (Date Version) without discount anymore....i was very edger to buy from them...but the deal wasn't really good. (my Tag DD black face was sold out) so i did not force myself to get other colours DD.

If hour glass giving better deal with black face i definitely re-consider my purchase.

Ohh my god! i out of town now! sigh i just left yesterday.
I was waiting this KLCC road show since last yr (u can back track the earlier post been kept asking n asking when is the road show)
The road show is giving 23% if the deal is the same. Arrrrr....the SA at 1U are so smart didnt tell me anything about the road show.

And i cant make it back tomorrow. Omg

too bad no one can help me to buy coz the price is exp...guess no one willing to swipe credit card for me

Im still very frustrated, coz the AD didnt tell me a word that i can "pop" to KLCC few days back. Guess they 1 2 get rid of their TH stock.

There are 2 AD serving me tat time non of them are good in customer service.
(I was "that" close to buy from them "Brown Face DD") but only manage to give me 18% instead of 23% previously that i asked.

Well, my first choice is Black Face, guess not to force yourself to buy something that you dont really like it.~~ Hope KLCC dont have Black Face DD so it can make me feel easy that way buy missing the road show 2010.

U Jr Koh! This is what i wanted to get 2 days back and SA told me is "Out of Stock"
They call it "Black Face". They only have the brown and white face.

I was almost poison by wearing the DD on my wrist and almost forget my intention is getting the TH "Black Face" DD instead of Brown.

Both brown n black looks good too...but since there's no side by side comparison I'll hold back my purchase.

my philosophy is buy things that you like and price that u can afford and im happy enough.

FYI de.crystal, is a Tag Heuer Carrera Automatic Chronograph Day-Date (DD) retail price RM12,400 for steel/ RM12200 for leather
They have variou colours. Black Face (like Jr.Koh), Brown/White

i visited 1U new wing WatchSxxxxx they have the same agreement with Wata Txxx.
Yes to protect themselves if they provide 23% with receipt. But comes with International warranty card.

So, u go for the black stripe ya....hmm..i was wondering brown or black.....

I was once served with an attitude what i cant afford to buy the Tag.
The malay lady was looking at my watch and i was like "Wxx" looking down on me.

A month later i visited them again to check on their stock availability and is gone.
This time i try not wearing anything with formal attire. Well, they are looking at me and serve me slightly better than previous visit.

Think is a norm thing in M'sia ppl "scan" their customer from head to toe.

Oh guys, my bro was asking me to consider Omega watches...any nice Omega watches can reckon? Since Omega > Tag

Hence, i head to Omega website and try to hunt a few design that i like.
I totally have no idea on Omega retail price. Guess u guys can enlighten me whether is it a good deal and usually what is their discount.
