not a B&R fan... AD prices usually controlled.
I just find B&R overpriced.. using unmod ETA 2892 / 2894 movement can command such high price.
might as well get a Panerai, bear min they mod 7750 heavily.

He was my part time colleague, so I can't make sure the originality. Is kinda funny, his watch slowed half an hour, reset back again and keep on shake shake.

The shop was CC@ Pavilion. smile.gif

Hey guys need some help. Looking to purchase a similar looking black watch like in the spoiler. But the thing which is bothering me is with the casing and bracelet being black stainless steel and all will it be prone to scratches and colour fade over time?

don't think it will fade over time, usually cheap PVD get scratch off easily.
or get something from Diveas
http://www.gnomonwatches.com/DievasAvantGa...intage6152.html
QUOTE
The case, tube, lugs, screws and buckle are treated by Plasma Assisted Chemical Vapour Deposition(PACVD) with a new material, Diamond Like Carbon(DLC). This special treatment is done specially for Dievas by a German company who specialize in the treatment for Formula One cars. Unlike the PACVD-DLC coating used on the Dievas AGP, this particular found on the AGV 6152BD is has a slightly different patent and molecular compound, thus adding a different shade to its appearance. This technology brings its hardness to a new level.
The PACVD-DLC treated Dievas AGV 6152 has a hardness of 2700 Vickers (tested according to the ISO 14577 / DIN 50 359 Standards) which is about 18 times the hardness of 316L stainless steel of 140 Vickers. Included with each watch is a hardness report with ISO 14577 / DIN 50 359 certification.

And a first for Dievas is the TiNite treated crown and caseback. TiNite is approved by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and used for precision medical equipment, The material is extremely tough, highly resistant to tarnish and discoloring. TiNite is the perfect material for the caseback which has the most contact with the owner.

this seem like a good deal... 3mths old and its US$300

Anyone here owns a Ball watch? I recently purchased a Engineer Master II - Aviator. My question is :

The date on my watch has black numerals on white background however when I check on Ball's website, the same model has red numerals on black background! Can anyone shed a light on this? I checked with the supplier and according to them, all newer models (or batches) comes with black on white. I did manage to register my watch online successfully therefore I guess its autheticity is not an issue...but I am still puzzled as to why there are different variants on the color of the date numerals???!

Any help will be much appreciated! smile.gif Anyone....??

Thx!

according to what i read, its below Grand Seiko in terms of finishing.
i have to say it have to be better than Premier.
Seiko does priced their according, its not like they are ripping ppl off.

no seiko expert, that maybe how seiko rank their collection
http://www.seikowatches.com/products/index.html

seiko premier starts ~us$300 to us$1k
Seiko Ananta starts us$2k to us$7.1k certainly not double of premier collection
Grand Seiko starts ~us$3k (us$2k for a quartz) to us$30k
