hi guys, i'm planning to buy MacBook (Alu. 13.3", 2.4GHz) or MacBook Pro (15", 2.4GHz) early next month....

what's the major diff. between this 2 models, other then screen size, storage size?

almost virus deisgn for windows..but noawadays still have virus for Mac..but mybe not so much in windows..just install antivirus for ur fully protection..

its some kind of mould problem..inside the speck casing. this what happen to my mb.
now not using it anymore. ..   

yeap.. its like a dirt ( small crack) . thats the area/edge being pressed by the 'benjol' inside the casing. result : senget 

im using the speck satin as well, i suppose the corners was pressured, or bang into?

the alu aint as sturdy as we think, my frens one was dented, very obvious

1 more question to all the sifu here, does anyone here encounter this problem, i want to hide all the file extension in my mac but it kept showing up, i already unchecked the "show all file extension" in the finder's option.

i have been googling around for solution but cannot find any, some say is a bug of this mac os x.

i am using mac os x 10.5.6

please help me out.

the trackpad is very nice to use once you get use to it.

the trackpad is gorgeous!
once u use it, u;ll hate the other trackpads...
they're so small and so useless... one at most 2 fingers are going to work it
but 4 for a macbook. haha. and larger space.

I believe not after the 14 days return policy is over... You didn't realize the dead pixel before this?

bring it to the technicians for a check up,then plot your next course of action normally they'll replace the screen.

They do sell.. Just that the 13" has been renamed to macbook pro and with a build in battery and some changes on the design..

Call AppleCare and see if they can do anything for you. Another tip, don't go to resellers, go to an Apple Store itself.

I have the same problem on my first macbook pro. Apple change the lcd but not with a new one tho.
