should i buy MBP in USA or malaysia instead? i have friends who are currently studying in USA, so i can use the student discount as shown in US apple store.

hmm.. i;m using an IBM and sometimes i just leave my it ON for like 1 week straight. the laptop has been with me since 4 years ago. i dont see any problem yet. i keep a good ventilation under the lappie though.

currently i'm considering to move to MBP yet i'm fully aware with the heat issue, particularly in MBP. to make things worse i plan to run dual OS in VMware Fusion. my concern is, will MBP be a safe choice for an user like me, under these circumstances?

anyone has experience in refurbished mbp? what's the difference between the warranty? will i be able to claim anything from apple malaysia if something bad happens to it?
