Continuation from version 1 here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/510750

As mentioned by Prasys in v2:

This is the 3rd Version of the MacBook Pro/MacBook Thread. I hope you macbook users can get along and share the joy of your MacBook. Oh yes , did I say that it comes with new rules. I hope you guys can obey the rules

Basic Rules for This Thread

1. DO NOT SPAM
When I say do not spam. It means do not post useless '1 sen' posts such as 'Apple s**** , too expensive .. without being constructive. You can say Apple Sucks but please do provide your reason. For example

CODE
I think MacBook Pro is overpriced. This is because I could get a laptop with a similar specification for half the price. On top of that , there are some heat-releated issues that Apple should solve with their MacBook Pro series. Overall for me , I don't think its worth it. Its just my thought

2. BE POLITE

Please respect other members here and don't just start to flame. We should be thankful that the Administrators for giving this marvellous place

I hope you enjoy your new MacBook Pro/MacBook Thread

I'll add some useful application and list of URLs later for you all

i seriously doubt there is,apple wouldn't just create a new line of products after less then 2 months of launching the current line up it would be a PR nightmare and on top of that those early unibody adapters would be furious,to know their macs are discontinued. Macbook air has already been refreshed String has the new one. Whenever theres a new product dont buy it straightaway,as it is the first version thats what apple has thought us so far bugs also existed in the core duo macbooks and pros, they didnt immediately change to C2D macs did they?

New 17" unibody MBP with some new nifty features perhaps? That one is still lacking after all.

hey, they say we can change the ram on a mac as we like..is it true?? like we can snatch a 2gb ddr3 memory from a pc store, disassemble the mac and plug it into the mac..

Yes you can. However its strongly recommended that you plug it into the Mac at the shop itself, and test to make sure that it works before paying for it.
