Your wrong, you'll kill the battery very fast if you keep draining the battery. Always keep your charger plugged in at home. Use the battery only when needed.

I feel theres no need for one, if you take care of your macbook pro properly. And it might hinder your heat dispersion.

I've rarely seen a scratched mbp... but i've seen alot of dented ones...lol

the mbp overheat?

What kind of burnt condition you having there?
*
I've maintained my mbp at a stable 55-60 degree range, stopped using any editing software on it at all, its sorta like a gradiant yellowing on the keys on the space bar row and the trackpad. With the sides darker.

My friend said i eat nasi kunyit while typing...mana boleh??? tongue.gif

Hi, I'm planning to purchase a new MB alu soon and I have been given the option to install iWork 09 for RM169. I would like to know its ease of use and is there any compatibility issues with Microsoft Office 2008?

I have done some reading in this forum and I notice most of the users are saying there are problems with alignment, border, etc when viewing files. Ideally, I would like to have iWork only without installing macOffice. Is this recommended? If I do not wish to install macOffice, is the combo of iWork and neoOffice feasible?

Thank you.
*
Ultimately, all my friends using Mac have gone back to using MS Office, iWork/NeoOffice is just not living up to the hype.

hi guys,

My Machine seems to have different "improvement" then last nite situation.

Now when i boot into the machine, i see a flashy folder with question mark.
What's now?

Now i got to say Mac OS X stability is incredible sux compare to XP.

Overhyped i was in Mac OS X.. darnit..i feel "stunned" and cheated by tos fancy advetisement from the apple.com. Now i spent more TIMES to fix the OS then working on my personal stuff.

I wil neva say to anyone Mac OS X is superb stable forever. I dun even dare to tell people to buy Mac product for flexibility working environment.

Mac OS X did have its powerful moment but that is for multi-tasking working routine.

This shouldn't be happend as one OS that live so long years. Now i having doubt with the reliability in Mac OS . It is utterly dissapointed~.

Just only 2nd weeks, it give me this creep & nonsense damage.

Haih... invest so much for a silly OS.. (The hardware is cool still.haha)

The Disk Warrior is going to take me long time to download.

Sue me anyone if you like to. Don't ever think Mac OS X is super stable cuz it can fail to BOOT anytime!!!

I goin to have this backup dilemma if This OS gonna works like this way once a while. Creepy...
Why the Mac OS X DVD cannot fix this situation? Even the "low-end" XP installer got this simple repair procedure.

Mac, you make me MAD.

Well for me, my PC is wayyyy faster than my macbook pro... (was getting abit tired of waiting a few minutes for photoshop and ms office to launch ). I recieve alot of mail which causes alot of problems for my Mail app. While loading or getting mail it has to hang a few minutes before i can even click on them. Leaving mail open forever causes mail not to hide or quit. Etc etc...I don't have virus issues on my windows (I'm using NOD32 and heck mac has trojans lined up), my photoshop and ms office launches in like 5 secs.

or maybe i've have just gotten fedup with all the spinning beach balls of death haha.

The new macbook range is also very disappointing, inferior hardware compared to previous models. Personally, even if its a tad faster, i still would prefer a good quality matte screen.

A new macbook for me? Well, i might consider if Apple stops "cutting cost" and gives a really superior machine and updated OS to boot (stop the leopard is 64bit crap) or they actually offer me with a high quality matte screen that i oh so love on my current macbook pro biggrin.gif

Cedric is not a very wise example... does he even read his mail? There is a resolution to the prob, delete all your mails... which to me defeats the purpose of having a mail app anyway... I think you too long never work d, i keep listening to customers and friends complaining about slow and hanging uh mails haha

And i was just giving my opinion on why the girl might be using windows rather than mac >.> DOH

Where did you buy your Macbook? Every mac MUST come with an installation CD. If it doesn't you have to go back to the retailer you bought it from and enquire from there.

However... did you check in the black box thingy to see if its in there? =X

Use a mouse. Lol... But do the default settings work for you?
There are loads of problems with the new line of mac's trackpad, if you seriously cannot solve the prob just send for warrenty claim.
