You're willing to spend thousands on a computer but refuse to spring for a few hundred for software?

Bet you won't find it so difficult to pay for a case, sleeve or peripheral though.

That's the thing about piracy, once you get things for free, it's difficult to actually pay for things.

Wow...now even with extra 2gb ram...super great deal.

Please be noted that the 2GB given by Machines..meaning they will take out a stick of 1GB from the Mac. So in total you only get 3GB RAM (2GB + 1GB ..2 slots).

Anybody can give some comparison between neo office and the latest open office 3.0? I'm currently use iWork trial. Which is the best office suit if we compare the 4: m/s office 08, open office 3, neo office & iWork?

Hope to get some feedback from Ppl who try all of them.

ouh yea? i didnt realize that because most of my work done in neo office are mainly involve docs/reports. the reason why i switched for another alternative from office '04 to neo office because neo office are very light and i love the interface better than microsoft office '04 (havent tried on office '08 yet). At first i was like just tryin to install n see how it runs.. but now im in love with it , using it on my daily work.

The ad is very misleading then..
but that also means Apple acknowledge the problem of 4GB RAM in the new unibody Macbook

err u do realize that macworld doesnt necessarily mean a refresh on the mac line up do u? Yes there is a refresh but normally this time around its just the mac pro or the desktops. Theres a timeframe apple adheres too,not every 3 months change new product.

Or Apple introducing a whole new segment of a portable/desktop Mac. Macbook Touch or a more powerful Mac Mini? Both would have my purchase consideration.

but dont write off the possibility of a new/refreshed macbook coming, especially with the known bugs that the current rev a macbooks have. the macbook air was first introduced during macworld.

i seriously doubt there is,apple wouldn't just create a new line of products after less then 2 months of launching the current line up it would be a PR nightmare and on top of that those early unibody adapters would be furious,to know their macs are discontinued. Macbook air has already been refreshed String has the new one. Whenever theres a new product dont buy it straightaway,as it is the first version thats what apple has thought us so far bugs also existed in the core duo macbooks and pros, they didnt immediately change to C2D macs did they?

I'm currently using one external WD hdd to store files (for my old Windows laptop).

Can I use the very same hdd for Time Machine? Will it clash/crash/whatever?
