My Far Cry 2 keep glitching during saving because of that so I removed it from the system32/drivers folder and locked it up somewhere. My games and system seems to run fine though. What does atikmdag do anyways?

The task of "atikmdag" file is part of your ATi graphics card driver. If you delete it, I'm afraid you may not be able to render certain 3D-applications.

I found out about that the hard way. I fixed the problem with a modded driver though.
