It's a trackball. Instead of moving your mouse, you'll use the ball to move your cursor around in Windows. Meaning the mouse is static. I'm having wrist pain due to excessive mouse usage in my office. Since using this trackball, no more pain even working long hours cos whenever you 'scroll' the trackball, you are actually moving your fingers & its directly exercising your hand.
