It is not true. Dell panel is LG.Philips 300WQ1 with is 8ms. Apple uses a S-IPS panel with better color gamut and 16ms.

I got it for around RM2.7k... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

It's a steal coz it is stated as used item but when I saw the monitor for real, it doens't look like a used item but like a brand new item since there's protective film covering it.... Excellent stuff from th3_glove20.... Really recommended seller.... Later I'll post my comments in his sell thread....

Actually ACD is still the best but I believe that the quality that the Dell has is similar since it is using same panel.... But I have yet to experience ACD so, if I can experience that, then onli I can say which one is better.....

Even though their panel are both from LG.Philips S-IPS, but the model of the panel is different. So it makes it a different panel. Dell quality control for their monitors is terrible, i have this monitor before i sold it (backlight bleed and text blurring problem) and buy the apple cinema display instead. If you turn off your light at night, switch on your 3008wfp and display a dark black picture, you'll know what i mean. apple doesnt have this problem but the price is 3x the price you're paying. rolleyes.gif

True true also.... If they use the same panel but different model, also considered different.... But I'm quite satisfied for the price I pay and the performance I get as of now since 30" is very expensive and hard to get.... As for backlight bleeding, I'll go check later.... Thx for the info.... icon_rolleyes.gif

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot.... To use 2560x1600, I need to use a dual link DVI cable right??? Can anyone show me how to differentiate between a normal one and dual link???? Thx in advance....
