No. Not true, I don't think Nintendo is dumb enough to spoil its' own party. They don't even bother to have many SKUs, coz they are selling like mad even with 1 model. If Wii continue to sell like mad for 10 years, i bet Nintendo will happily continue for 10 years.

Remember, it was the success of SEGA MegaDrive that force nintendo to upgrade its' aging NES? Old habit die hard.

DS has been out for years, yet they only did a minor upgrade with DSi. So you would see that old habit Nintendo have, indeed die hard.
